  • Tigers' Riley Greene: Launches grand slam in loss

Greene went 2-for-5 with a grand slam in Tuesday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Athletics. Greene has hit safely in five straight games, with three homers among his seven hits in that span. The outfielder made an early impact in the third inning Tuesday, though the Tigers coughed up the lead in the bottom of the frame. Greene is now at 32 homers, 99 RBI, 72 runs scored, two stolen bases and a .268/.323/.517 slash line through 130 contests on the year.

  • Tigers' Riley Greene: Two hits, stolen base in loss

Greene went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Monday's 8-3 loss to the Athletics. Greene extended his hitting streak to four games and also picked up a rare stolen base, as it was just his second of the season in three attempts. While he doesn't run a ton, the 24-year-old outfielder has still put together an outstanding fantasy campaign with a team-high 31 home runs and 95 RBI to go along with an .834 OPS, which would be a new career best for the budding star.

  • Tigers' Riley Greene: Homers again Sunday

Greene went 1-for-2 with a walk, a solo home run and three total runs scored in Sunday's 10-8 loss to the Royals. While Greene's batting average hasn't been great in recent weeks, he is in the middle of a power surge. The outfielder is just 11-for-47 over his last 14 games, but five of those hits have left the yard. Greene is now up to 31 home runs and 95 RBI for the season, both of which lead the team and are among the top 10 in the majors.

The 24-year-old has homered three times over his past eight games, though he's just 4-for-25 during that stretch and hitting .198 since the All-Star break. For the year, he's slashing .263/.318/.508 with 30 long balls, 67 runs scored and one steal while ranking fifth in the majors with 94 RBI across 525 plate appearances.

  • Tigers' Riley Greene: Gets going Sunday

Greene went 2-for-5 with a home run, an additional run scored and three RBI in Sunday's 9-5 win over the Angels. It's mostly been a struggle for Greene after the All-Star break, but he's been a bit better lately, as he's gone 5-for-18 over his last five games. Sunday's home run was also his second in his last 10 games, and he now has a team-leading 27 long balls for the season. Greene seems to be turning a corner, and his overall stat line suggests a strong finish to the year could be on tap.

  • Tigers' Riley Greene: Post-break slump continues

Greene, who went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts in Wednesday's loss to the Twins, is now batting just .171 in 17 games since the All-Star break. Outside of a three-hit game with a home run on July 29, Greene has only nine hits and one long ball in the second half of the season, and he's struck out 28 times. The All-Star starter was excellent before the break, and he still leads the team with 26 home runs and 84 RBI, but he is scuffling at the moment. The Tigers have a day off Thursday, which could help Greene reset before a weekend series against the Angels.

  • Tigers' Riley Greene: Tallies two hits Friday

Greene went 2-for-4 with a triple, an RBI and a run scored in Friday's 12-3 loss to the Mariners. Greene recorded his first triple of the season as he also notched just his second multi-hit performance of the month. In July, the talented outfielder is slashing just .158/.220/.447 across 10 games, which is down significantly from his overall line of .281/.334/.529. Greene still has done more than enough to earn a starting nod in the All-Star Game, as he also has a team-high 22 home runs and 73 RBI, and he should be able to get hot at the plate again soon based on his track record.
