His steal Saturday was his first since July 30 versus the Mariners. Overall, the catcher is batting .264 with an .846 OPS, 29 home runs, 67 RBI, 63 runs scored, 26 doubles and six steals over 108 contests.

    Langeliers went 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored in Tuesday's 7-6 extra-inning win over the Tigers. Langeliers wasn't able to lift another homer, but he logged his first multi-hit effort since Aug. 15 versus the Angels. The catcher has been sensational this month, batting .306 with 11 home runs and 22 RBI over 22 games in August. That surge has him up to a .266/.311/.547 slash line with 29 homers, 65 RBI, 60 runs scored, 23 doubles and five stolen bases through 101 contests on the year. He is on track for career-best numbers across the board in his third full major-league season.

Langeliers led off the bottom of the first inning with a homer, and he added an RBI single in the eighth to help the Athletics secure their lead. His power has spiked in August with seven homers over his last 13 games, a span in which he's also batting .386 (22-for-57). The catcher has gone deep 25 times this season, putting him on pace to reach the 30-homer mark for the first time in his career. He's added 55 RBI, 53 runs scored, 21 doubles, five stolen bases and a .274/.320/.549 slash line across 92 contests in a breakout campaign.

Langeliers became the fifth catcher in MLB history to hit 20-plus homers in three of his first four seasons. He now has 10 home runs since coming back from the All-Star break, which is tied with Kyle Schwarber for the most in baseball.

Langeliers did his damage early, with the homer coming as part of the Athletics' four-run first inning. He's lifted five long balls over his last seven games, going 12-for-29 (.414) with seven RBI in that span. The hot stretch has the catcher up to a .258/.312/.507 slash line on the year. His .819 OPS is impressive, especially since it was at .709 entering the All-Star break. Langeliers has added 19 homers, 45 RBI, 41 runs scored, five stolen bases and 17 doubles through 80 contests this season.

The 27-year-old exploded out of the second-half gate with three hits, including his 13th home run, to help key an Athletics comeback that came up just short in the ninth inning. The catcher is now slashing .235/.292/.445 with 13 doubles, 13 home runs and 33 RBI on the season.

    Langeliers went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run during Monday's 6-4 win over the Rays. Langeliers, playing in his first game since June 5 after an oblique injury, homered in his first at-bat back with two men on to give the Athletics an early 3-0 lead before they even took the field. As one of five players with 10 or more home runs on the team, his bat is a welcome addition back to the lineup. Another encouraging sign is that the 27-year-old put the ball in play every at-bat. Strikeouts have been an issue for the backstop, who's struck out at least once in 12 of his last 14 games, dating back to before his injury.
