Wrobleski (11-3) took the loss against the Cubs on Monday, allowing seven runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out four batters over 4.1 innings.
The Dodgers' offense gave Wrobleski a nice early cushion, producing three runs in the top of the first inning. However, the left-hander allowed Chicago to quickly close the gap when he surrendered a two-run homer to Carson Kelly in the bottom of the frame. The Cubs went on to crush three more long balls against Wrobleski, marking his second straight start in which he's allowed four home runs. Prior to the pair of outings, Wrobleski had allowed just eight homers across his first 106.2 frames spanning 17 starts, so he's clearly hit a rough patch. According to Jack Harris of the California Post, both Wrobleski and Dave Roberts said after the game that the hurler may be tipping his pitches, and the team is planning to look into whether that's the case. With an 11-3 overall record, a 3.31 ERA and his first career All-Star nod under his belt, Wrobleski has likely earned some leash in terms of holding onto a starting spot through his recent struggles, though Los Angeles' embarrassment of pitching riches means he could be vying with Roki Sasaki for the No. 6 rotation spot when all of Shohei Ohtani (knee), Blake Snell (elbow) and Tyler Glasnow (back) are ready to rejoin Yoshinabu Yamamoto and Tarik Skubal in the rotation.

Wrobleski was done in by the long ball Tuesday, giving up four homers that accounted for all five runs against him. He has allowed multiple homers just three times all season, and he had given up a total of four long balls across his previous seven starts combined. Consider this outing an anomaly for now -- Wrobleski's performance this season has earned him the benefit of the doubt. He's at a 2.88 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 87:21 K:BB through 112.2 innings over 18 games (17 starts). The southpaw is tentatively projected for a home start versus the Red Sox over the weekend.

Wrobleski (11-2) picked up the win Tuesday, allowing one run on five hits and a walk over 6.1 innings in a 2-1 victory over the Phillies. He struck out seven.
The left-hander got tagged for a run in the bottom of the first inning after a Bryce Harper double and an Alec Bohm single, but Wrobleski shut down the home squad for the rest of his outing, eventually leaving the mound after 89 pitches (59 strikes). The quality start was Wrobleski's 12th of the year and his fifth straight, a stretch in which he's delivered a 1.89 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 35:5 K:BB in 33.1 innings. He's set to make his next start at home early next week against the Mariners.

Wrobleski's 11 strikeouts were a career high. He was excellent in June, allowing nine runs over 30.2 innings with a 24:4 K:BB. He's won his last three starts and hasn't taken a loss since May 22 in Milwaukee. The southpaw is now at a 2.80 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 64:18 K:BB through 93.1 innings over 15 appearances (14 starts) this season. Wrobleski is projected to make his next start at home versus the Rockies.

Wrobleski gave up a pair of runs over his first three innings but kept the Twins out of the scoring column over his final four frames. As per usual, he pitched to contact -- notching just nine whiffs and three punchouts -- but that formula has worked well for him this year. Despite a modest 53:18 K:BB through 86.1 innings, Wrobleski has made a strong case for an All-Star bid, as he's tied for second in MLB in victories, ranks 10th with a 2.71 ERA and places ninth with a 1.01 WHIP. The left-hander is also tied for 10th with nine quality starts and has five such performances over his past seven outings.

The southpaw is at a 2.72 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 50:16 K:BB through 79.1 innings over 13 appearances (12 starts) in a breakout campaign. Wrobleski is projected to make his next start in Minnesota.

Wrobleski (hamstring) is listed as the Dodgers' probable starting pitcher for Tuesday's game against the Rays in Los Angeles, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
Wrobleski sustained a right hamstring contusion during his most recent start in Thursday's win over the Pirates, but manager Dave Roberts expressed confidence after the game the left-hander wouldn't need to miss a turn through the rotation. Roberts' prediction has come to pass, with Wrobleski seemingly being able to make it through his between-starts bullpen session with no complications. Though his 15.5 percent strikeout rate on the season has been one of the lowest marks among all starting pitchers, Wrobleski has delivered a 2.95 ERA and 1.05 WHIP over 73.1 innings. He's earned some of his success by walking just 5.4 percent of the batters he's faced, but Wrobleski has been the beneficiary of a .243 BABIP and a 77.9 percent strand rate, both of which will be tough for him to sustain over the course of the season.

Wrobleski was removed from Thursday's start against the Pirates after taking a comebacker off his leg, and he was later diagnosed with a hamstring contusion. Both Roberts and Wrobleski said they don't anticipate the injury to affect the left-hander's ability to make his next start, which is lined up for next week against the Rays.

Wrobleski suffered a right hamstring contusion in Thursday's contest against the Pirates, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.
Wrobleski exited the game with two outs in the bottom of the fifth inning after taking a liner off the bat of Bryan Reynolds to his right thigh. It's now understood to be a hamstring contusion, and the 25-year-old's availability for his next turn through the rotation will likely depend on how his body recovers over the next few days. Wrobleski can be considered day-to-day for the time being ahead of his next tentative start against Tampa Bay.
