Marsee tied a franchise record with seven RBI, highlighted by home runs in the first and fifth innings. Per Sarah Langs of MLB.com, the 24-year-old is just the third player ever to drive in at least seven runs in a game within his first 13 career contests. Marlins' Jakob Marsee: Getting day off in series finale
Marsee is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta.
For the first time since being called up from Triple-A Jacksonville on Aug. 1, Marsee will have a seat with Atlanta sending lefty Joey Wentz to the hill. Derek Hill will cover center field in place of Marsee, who has gotten off to a blazing start to his MLB career by slashing .448/.568/.793 to go with one home run, five stolen bases, six runs and six RBI through his first 10 games.

Marlins' Jakob Marsee: Tallies three thefts Saturday
Marsee went 3-for-6 with a double, two walks, a run, an RBI and three stolen bases across both contests of a doubleheader against Atlanta on Saturday.
Marsee started in center field in the early game and went a quiet 1-for-4. He shifted over to left field for the nightcap and was much more productive, reaching base in all four of his plate appearances, including with an RBI double in the fourth inning. The speedy rookie also swiped three bags in the loss, more than doubling the amount (two) he logged through his first eight big-league contests. Marsee has made an immediate impact since being called up from Triple-A on Aug. 1, slashing .448/.568/.793 with a home run, five doubles, a triple, five steals, six runs and six RBI through 10 games.

Marlins' Jakob Marsee: Nabs first big-league steal
Marsee went 1-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base in Wednesday's win over the Astros.
One game after clubbing his first big-league homer, Marsee flashed the other side of his skill set with his first MLB steal. The latter category is the one he's likely to make the bigger impact in -- prior to his promotion, he had 14 home runs and 46 stolen bases over 98 Triple-A contests -- but the 24-year-old has provided all-around production since being called up by the Marlins, batting .438 (7-for-16) in his first six games with five total extra-base hits, three runs and three RBI.

Marlins' Jakob Marsee: Clubs first career homer
Marsee went 2-for-2 with a walk, a home run and two RBI in Tuesday's loss to the Astros.
Not much went right for the Marlins in this one, but Marsee provided a highlight by leading off the bottom of the fifth inning with his first career big-league homer, as he launched an AJ Blubaugh sweeper 409 feet to right field. Marsee has gone 6-for-12 with a 5:5 BB:K and five extra-base hits (three doubles, a triple and a homer) in five games since his promotion, and the early returns suggest Miami has found its long-term answer in center field.

Marlins' Jakob Marsee: Gaining foothold in lineup
Marsee will start in center field and bat sixth in Sunday's game against the Astros.
Since getting called up from Triple-A Jacksonville on Friday, Marsee seems to have quickly established himself as a regular in the Miami outfield. He started all three games of the Marlins' weekend series against the Yankees, going 4-for-8 with three doubles, one triple, four walks, two runs and one RBI. Marsee batted out of the No. 9 spot in his MLB debut, but he's now moved up to sixth in the order in each of his last three starts, with all coming against right-handed pitchers.

Marlins' Jakob Marsee: On base four times in MLB debut
Marsee went 1-for-2 with three walks, a double and two runs scored in Friday's win over the Yankees.
Starting in center field and batting ninth in his big-league debut, Marsee made an immediate impact in a wild 13-12 victory, scoring the tying run in the ninth inning before the Marlins walked it off. The 24-year-old should get a long look in the starting lineup over the final months of the season, and if his on-base skills translate to the majors, he should quickly find himself in a much more fantasy-friendly spot in the lineup. Marsee earned his promotion by slashing .313/.419/.611 over his last 40 games for Triple-A Jacksonville.

Marlins' Jakob Marsee: Promoted, starting Friday
The Marlins selected Marsee's contract from Triple-A Jacksonville, and he's starting in center field and batting ninth Friday against the Yankees.
The 24-year-old is taking the roster spot of Jesus Sanchez, who was traded to the Astros on Thursday. Marsee will immediately make his MLB debut in center field and could receive regular playing time. It remains to be seen if he can get on base enough given his .243 average with Jacksonville, but Marsee could provide some value on the basepaths with 46 steals in 98 Triple-A games this season.
