Phillies' Daniel Robert: Returns from IL
The Phillies reinstated Robert (finger) from the 15-day injured list Sunday and optioned him to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
The 30-year-old right-hander had posted a 5.79 ERA and 1.82 WHIP in 12 innings out of the bullpen this season before being placed on the IL on Aug. 1 due to a blister on his right middle finger. He's healthy now but will remain with Lehigh Valley, where he had been on a rehab assignment.

Phillies' Daniel Robert: Set for rehab assignment
Robert (finger) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Tuesday.
Robert was placed on the 15-day IL with a blister on his right middle finger, which he suffered July 30. Robert has pitched in 12 games out of the bullpen for Philly this season, logging a 5.79 ERA, 1.82 WHIP and 12:8 K:BB across 9.1 innings of work.

Phillies' Daniel Robert: Out with blister
The Phillies placed Robert on the 15-day injured list Friday, retroactive to July 30, due to a right middle finger blister.
Robert presumably suffered the injury while pitching against the White Sox on Monday, when he gave up three runs over one inning. The right-hander will be eligible to be activated in mid-August but is without an official timeline for his return.

Phillies' Daniel Robert: Scoreless streak ends Saturday
Robert allowed two runs on one hit and one walk in one inning of relief during Saturday's 9-4 win over the Yankees. He struck out one.
Saturday ended Robert's scoreless streak of eight outings, but it at least came with the Phillies holding a 9-1 lead in the seventh frame. The 30-year-old right-hander should continue to work in low-leverage situations in Philadelphia's bullpen, but he does own a respectable 2.35 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 10:5 K:BB over his last 7.2 innings since being recalled from the minor leagues.

Robert previously had a stint with the Phillies this season, allowing one run on two hits with a 2:3 K:BB over two-thirds of an inning in mid-May after being acquired in a trade with the Rangers on May 1. He's posted a 0.95 ERA and 1.00 WHIP with a 26:5 K:BB across 19 innings during his time in Triple-A and will get another shot to make an impression as part of the Phillies' bullpen. Robert had just gotten called up Friday and walked three batters while allowing one run on one hit over one-third of an inning against the Pirates in his lone appearance.
