Pirates' Tahnaj Thomas: Working in relief at Double-A
Thomas is working out of the bullpen at Double-A Altoona.
A former starting pitching prospect, the writing seemed to be on the wall with Thomas that he might fit best in relief, and the Pirates seem to have made that move official. The hard-throwing righty has the stuff to eventually pitch near the back of a big-league bullpen. He has two strikeouts while allowing one hit and one walk in two scoreless innings this season.
