  • Pirates' Lolo Sanchez: Activated from injured list

Sanchez (undisclosed) was activated from Double-A Altoona's 7-day injured list Friday, Kevin Gorman of TribLive.com reports.

Sanchez landed on the injured list in late June and has been cleared to rejoin Altoona's roster after a five-game rehab assignment with Pittsburgh's rookie-level affiliate in the Florida Complex League. The 23-year-old has a .252/.364/.368 slash line with four home runs, 19 RBI and six stolen bases in 47 games at Double-A this year.
