Pasquantino went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer in Sunday's 10-8 win over the Tigers.
Pasquantino provided the big blow in Kansas City's six-run third inning, a 429-foot blast off Jack Flaherty to extend the Royals' lead to 4-1. It's the sixth homer in seven games for Pasquantino, who had gone deep in five straight games before settling for a double Saturday. Pasquantino has posted a 1.507 OPS during his seven-game power surge, boosting his slash line to .264/.324/.480 with 28 homers, 92 RBI and 55 runs scored across 549 plate appearances this year.

Royals' Vinnie Pasquantino: Homers in fifth straight
Pasquantino went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Friday's 7-5 loss to the Tigers.
Pasquantino extended his home-run streak to five games with a two-run blast off Will Vest in the ninth. It was the first baseman's seventh homer in 10 contests, and he's now racked up 13 extra-base hits and 24 RBI so far in August. For the season, he's slashing .263/.324/.475 with 27 homers, 89 RBI, 54 runs scored and a steal in what's shaping up to be a career year.

Royals' Vinnie Pasquantino: Goes yard in third straight game
Pasquantino went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run and two walks in Wednesday's 6-3 loss to Texas.
Pasquantino is in the midst of a power surge, having now gone deep in three consecutive games. The first baseman had a .569 OPS through April 30, but he's been outstanding at the dish for the Royals and fantasy managers for most of the year. Since the beginning of May, Pasquantino is slashing .288/.350/.508 with 21 long balls, 18 doubles and 68 RBI covering 406 plate appearances to lift his OPS to .791 for the season.

Pasquantino went 2-for-3 with a solo homer, a double and two runs scored in Tuesday's win over Texas. He was also hit by a pitch.
Pasquantino ripped a solo shot in the first inning for his 24th long ball of the year. He's gone deep in back-to-back games and has five home runs over his last nine games. Pasquantino later doubled and scored the go-ahead run in the seventh inning of Tuesday's victory. Pasquantino was pulled from Saturday's game against the White Sox after one inning due to an apparent injury, Jaylon T. Thompson of The Kansas City Star reports.
Pasquantino appeared to show discomfort after taking a swing in his lone plate appearance. He remained in the contest to finish the at-bat but was replaced by Nick Loftin -- who had started in left field -- at first base for the top of the second inning. Meanwhile, John Rave entered the contest in left. Pasquantino figures to undergo further evaluation, the results of which should provide more details about what he's dealing with, along with a potential return timeframe.

Pasquantino's early exit from Saturday's game against the White Sox was due to a heat-related illness.
Pasquantino was pulled from the game following his first-inning at-bat, which ended with a strikeout. Though being removed from a game early is very rarely a positive occurrence, the reason for his exit gives reason to hope that he's not dealing with anything serious. It's unclear if Pasquantino will be able to return to the lineup Sunday for the series finale, however.

Pasquantino went 2-for-5 with a double, a home run and four RBI in Wednesday's 8-7 loss to the Nationals.
The first baseman did his best to get the Royals back into the game after they fell behind 5-0 in the top of the first inning, driving in Kansas City's first run with a groundout in the bottom of the first and then adding a three-run shot off Jake Irvin in the fourth. Pasquantino has three homers and 11 RBI in the last four games, and over 19 contests since his last day off July 22, he's batting .240 (18-for-75) with seven of his 22 long balls on the season, plus 23 of his 80 RBI.

Pasquantino set the tone with a three-run homer in the first inning, then added an RBI single in the second and a two-run blast in the fourth. He's been steady at the plate lately, going 16-for-57 (.281) with four homers, three doubles and 16 RBI over his last 15 games.
