Phillies' Harrison Bader: Appears as pinch hitter
Bader (groin) went 0-for-1 with a strikeout in Game 4 of the NLDS on Thursday against the Dodgers.
Bader was out of the lineup due to a groin injury but appeared as a pinch hitter in the 11th inning. He was immediately replaced for defensive purposes, suggesting he may not have been feeling healthy enough to handle left field. Bader could be headed for recovery early in the offseason, but he should be healthy in plenty of time for spring training.

Phillies' Harrison Bader: On bench for Game 4
Bader (groin) isn't in the lineup for Game 4 of the NLDS against the Dodgers on Thursday, Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Bader will miss a third consecutive start after suffering a left groin injury in Game 1, but he'll continue to be available off the bench. If the Phillies are able to force a Game 5, the team is hopeful that an extra day of rest between games would enable the 31-year-old to return to the lineup in the series finale.

Phillies' Harrison Bader: Absent from Game 3 lineup
Bader (groin) isn't in the lineup for Game 3 of the NLDS against the Dodgers on Wednesday, Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Bader was a game-time decision heading into Game 3 due to a groin injury he suffered in Game 1, and the Phillies have officially decided to keep the speedy outfielder on the bench for another day. He picked up a single off the bench in Game 2 and will likely be available to serve as a pinch hitter again Wednesday.

Phillies' Harrison Bader: Game 3 status uncertain
Manager Rob Thomson said Tuesday that Bader (groin) will be a game-time decision to start Game 3 of the NLDS on Wednesday, Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
After exiting Game 1 early due to a groin injury, Bader came off the bench to deliver a pinch-hit single in the ninth inning of Game 2. If the Phillies decide to keep him out of the starting lineup Wednesday, the 31-year-old would presumably still be available to serve as a pinch hitter again.

Phillies' Harrison Bader: Not in lineup but could pinch hit
Bader (groin) is not in the lineup Monday for Game 2 of the NLDS against the Dodgers.
Bader had to exit Game 1 on Saturday with left groin tightness and is not well enough to return to the lineup. Phillies manager Rob Thomson said that Bader will hit in the cage pregame and could be available off the bench as a pinch hitter, Charlotte Varnes of The Athletic reports. Brandon Marsh will start in center field and will be flanked by Nick Castellanos in right field and Otto Kemp in left field.

Phillies' Harrison Bader: Hopeful for Game 2
An MRI on Bader's left groin didn't reveal a tear or major strain, and the team remains hopeful he'll play in Monday's Game 2 against the Dodgers, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.
Bader departed Game 1 with what was initially deemed a hamstring strain, but manager Rob Thompson clarified postgame that it's a groin injury. Bader's MRI results are encouraging, as it seems he's avoided a significant injury, and he'll have a shot at returning for Game 2. If he can't go, Brandon Marsh would be the likeliest candidate to start in center field.

Phillies' Harrison Bader: Departs Game 1 with injury
Bader left Saturday's NLDS Game 1 matchup versus the Dodgers with a strained left hamstring, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.
Nick Castellanos pinch-hit for Bader in the seventh inning and took over in right field, with Brandon Marsh moving over to center. Bader had a sacrifice fly and a hit by pitch before his exit. The outfielder will have an extra day to get healthy since the Phillies and Dodgers don't play the second game of the series until Monday.

Phillies' Harrison Bader: Left with groin tightness
Manager Rob Thomson said after Saturday's loss to the Dodgers that Bader was removed from the game due to groin tightness, Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
The Phillies initially announced Bader was removed from the contest due to a left hamstring strain, but Thomson clarified it's a groin issue. It's unclear if Bader will be able to recover enough in time to play in Monday's Game 2 of the National League Division Series against the Dodgers. Both Brandon Marsh and Max Kepler saw time in center field following Bader's departure Saturday.

Phillies' Harrison Bader: Getting breather Sunday
Bader is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.
His streak of 18 consecutive starts comes to an end in the Phillies' regular-season finale, with Brandon Marsh patrolling center field in his stead. Bader had served as Philadelphia's leadoff hitter in 17 consecutive games before Sunday, but now that Trea Turner is back from the injured list, Bader could move back down the batting order during the postseason.

Bader went 3-for-5 with a solo home run and a double in Friday's 8-2 win over the Diamondbacks.
Bader's bat has cooled a bit after his surge last week, but he's still gone 21-for-51 (.412) over his last 11 games, a span that includes a quartet of three-hit efforts. The outfielder tied the game at 2-2 with his fifth-inning blast Friday. For the season, he's set career highs with a .287/.358/.471 slash line, 17 homers and 54 RBI across 138 games while adding 58 runs scored and 11 stolen bases.

Phillies' Harrison Bader: Batting leadoff Tuesday
Bader will start in center field and bat leadoff in Tuesday's game against the Mets.
The Phillies have had to shake up the top of their lineup with Trea Turner (hamstring) sidelined. Bryce Harper was up in the leadoff spot against a righty Monday, and it's Bader at the top of the batting order Tuesday versus southpaw Sean Manaea. Bader has had reverse splits this season, but he's traditionally been a much better hitter in his career against lefties, sporting a .762 OPS as compared to a .695 OPS versus righties.

Bader is out of the lineup for Sunday's game at Miami.
Bader will head to the bench Sunday after a run of seven straight starts, during which he batted .286 (8-for-28) with three doubles, a homer, five RBI and six runs. Max Kepler, Brandon Marsh and Nick Castellanos will start from left to right in the outfield in the series finale versus Miami.

Phillies' Harrison Bader: Plates three runs in victory
Bader went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs and three RBI in Monday's 10-8 win against Milwaukee.
Bader drove in his first run with a double in the sixth inning and added another RBI double in the eighth before plating the final run of the contest with a single in the ninth. The veteran outfielder notched his third performance of at least three hits over his past 10 games, a period in which he's slashed .471/.514/.765 with a home run, five RBI and seven runs. Bader has earned a near-everyday spot in the lineup with his productive stretch, as he's started nine of the Phillies' past 10 games.

Phillies' Harrison Bader: Making push for everyday role
Bader will start in center field and bat sixth in Monday's game against the Brewers.
After being acquired from the Twins on July 31, Bader started in just three of the Phillies' first seven games of August, but he appears to have since moved into a quasi-everyday role. He included this past month by starting in 17 of the final 22 contests, slashing .328/.408/.475 with one home run, three RBI and nine runs. Given that he's swinging a hot bat and is an excellent defender, Bader could end up being prioritized ahead of Nick Castellanos -- who is out of the lineup Monday -- Max Kepler and Brandon Marsh in the final month of the season.

Bader went 4-for-5 with a triple, a double and three runs scored in Thursday's 19-4 win over Atlanta.

The outfielder has three efforts of three or more hits over his last six games, going 12-for-21 (.571) with five extra-base hits in that span. On the year, he's up to a .269/.351/.450 slash line with 14 home runs, one triple, 17 doubles, 44 RBI, 42 runs scored and 10 stolen bases through 118 games between Philadelphia and Minnesota. As long as he's hitting well, he should continue to see a majority of the playing time in center field.
