Phillies' Edgar Ibarra: Signs a minor league deal with the Phillies
The Phillies signed Ibarra to a minor league contract, Baseball America reports.
Ibarra made two appearances with the Angels last season, allowing one run over four innings. He spent most of the year at Triple-A Salt Lake City where he was 3-3 with a 5.43 ERA and a 66:33 K:BB ratio in 61.1 innings. He will give the Phillies additional relief depth in the minors.
