Chris Anderson: Released by Dodgers
Anderson was released by the Dodgers on Saturday, J.P. Hoornstra of the Southern California News Group reports.
A 2013 first-round pick, Anderson has never panned out for the Dodgers, compiling a 4.37 ERA over four minor-league seasons. He was converted from a starter to a reliever last season in hopes of a revival, but failed to impress and was demoted to High-A Rancho Cucamonga. He'll look to latch on somewhere else in hopes of continuing his career.

Dodgers' Chris Anderson: Demoted to High-A and to the bullpen
Anderson appears to be moving to the bullpen with High-A Rancho Cucamonga after starting the season with a 5.79 ERA and ugly 20:27 K:BB in 28 innings in Double-A, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
A former first round pick (18th overall in 2013), Anderson has a minor league career 4.8 BB/9 and looks to be a bust at this point.
