Tigers' Zack Cox: Inks minor league deal with Tigers
Cox signed a minor league contract with the Tigers on Thursday, Anthony French of the Detroit Free Press reports.
The former first-round draft pick is a .285 hitter in six minor league seasons, but he hasn't been able to crack the major leagues due to his high strikeout rates. Due to this, Cox will likely be an organizational depth piece moving forward.
