  • Bruins' Matthew Poitras: Nicked up against Vegas

Poitras sustained an undisclosed injury against the Golden Knights on Monday, and there was no update on his status after the game, Jack Studley of Boston Hockey Now reports.

Poitras was elbowed by Braeden Bowman during this game, which resulted in a major penalty and game misconduct for the Vegas forward. Head coach Marco Sturm should have information to relay on Poitras' status prior to the Bruins' next game, which is Thursday in Pittsburgh.

  • Patrick Kane RW | CHI

Blackhawks' Patrick Kane: Won't return to Monday's game

Kane (undisclosed) has been ruled out for the remainder of Monday's game versus Colorado.

Kane left the game late in the second period and wasn't on the bench for the start of the third. The veteran logged 10:20 of ice time across 11 shifts prior to his departure. The Blackhawks will begin a three-game road trip Wednesday against the Panthers -- Kane can be considered day-to-day until his status is updated prior to that contest.

  • Flames' Brennan Othmann: Remains sidelined

Othmann (upper body) is not available for Monday's game in San Jose, according to the NHL media site.

Othmann will remain out of the lineup for a third straight game Monday. The winger is still day-to-day, but it's currently unclear if he'll be an option for Wednesday's game in Seattle.

  • Senators' Xavier Bourgault: Sent down Monday

Bourgault was loaned to AHL Belleville on Monday.

Sammy Blais was summoned from Belleville in a corresponding transaction. Bourgault did not record a point over two games with the Senators this past weekend. The 24-year-old has done well in the AHL this year, however, as he has generated three goals and nine points over 10 games with Belleville.

  • Sammy Blais LW | OTT

Senators' Sammy Blais: Elevated from Belleville

Blais was recalled from AHL Belleville on Monday.

Xavier Bourgault was sent to Belleville in a corresponding move. Blais has recorded three goals, seven points, 30 PIM and a minus-5 rating over nine games with the minor-league club this season. The winger might compete with Hayden Hodgson for fourth-line minutes going forward.

  • Carter Hart G | LV

Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Between pipes in Boston

Hart will patrol the road blue paint Monday versus the Bruins, per Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

This will be Hart's first start since Oct. 24 -- he missed Tuesday's game against the Senators due to an undisclosed injury, and he backed up Adin Hill against the Devils on Friday. Hart has lost three of his last four outings (1-2-1), and he will be looking to get back on track against a Bruins team that snapped its two-game losing streak with a 5-4 overtime win over Chicago on Saturday. Boston is 6-1-0 on home ice this season, so it'll be a tough test for Hart and his teammates in the first matchup of Vegas' four-game road trip.

  • Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Set to start Tuesday

Wedgewood is slated to start Tuesday's road game against Columbus, Colleen Flynn of Mile High Sports reports.

Mackenzie Blackwood has been named the starter for Monday's road matchup against Chicago, so Wedgewood is set to defend the crease in the second half of the back-to-back set. Across Wedgewood's four appearances to begin the 2026-27 campaign, he's gone 1-2-1 with a 3.49 GAA and .889 save percentage.

  • Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Between pipes against Chicago

Blackwood will start Monday's road game against Chicago, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports.

Blackwood has picked up wins in each of his last three starts, posting a 2.34 GAA and .916 save percentage during that time. He'll draw a third consecutive start Monday and will have a favorable matchup against the Blackhawks, who have recorded just 2.21 goals per game to begin the regular season, which is the second-worst mark in the league.

  • Taylor Raddysh RW | NYR

Rangers' Taylor Raddysh: Sent to AHL

Raddysh was loaned to AHL Hartford on Monday.

In a corresponding move, the Rangers recalled Jaroslav Chmelar from the minors. Raddysh has one assist, three shots on net, three blocked shots and three hits in six NHL appearances this season. He also has three goals and five points in five AHL outings this campaign.

  • Rangers' Jaroslav Chmelar: Called up Monday

Chmelar was recalled from AHL Hartford on Monday.

Chmelar was sent to the minors in mid-October, but he'll rejoin the Rangers after Taylor Raddysh was sent down Monday. Across his seven appearances with the NHL club earlier in the regular season, Chmelar was held scoreless with 15 hits while averaging 8:15 of ice time. Chmelar saw fairly regular playing time during his previous stint with the Rangers and could have an opportunity to carve out a role once again now that he's back in the NHL.
