  • Stars' Harrison Scott: Hits waivers

Scott (undisclosed) was placed on waivers Tuesday, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

Scott started the 2026-27 campaign on Dallas' injured non-roster list. Now that he's healthy, he will likely report to AHL Texas if he clears waivers. Scott notched 18 goals and 32 points in 72 regular-season games for AHL Texas in 2025-26.

  • Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Back in action Tuesday

Kuemper will guard the home crease in Tuesday's clash with the Oilers, per Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site.

Kuemper will look to get on track in Tuesday's outing after beginning the new season on the wrong foot. Overall, he has a 0-2-1 record, a 4.02 GAA, and an .868 save percentage across three outings. He's commanded the majority of opportunities between the pipes thus far, but if his results don't improve soon, he could start ceding chances to Anton Forsberg. Tuesday's matchup will be difficult for Kuemper, however, as the Kings host the Oilers, who enter the contest at 5.00 goals per game.

  • Red Wings' Michal Postava: Gets AHL weekly honor

Postava was named the AHL Player of the Week on Monday.

Postava won both of his outings with AHL Grand Rapids last week, stopping 58 of 60 shots. He's getting a chance to run with the starting job for the Griffins after the Red Wings dealt Sebastian Cossa to the Mammoth in the offseason. Should something sideline John Gibson or Daniil Tarasov at the NHL level, Postava would likely receive a call-up.

  • Penguins' Sergei Murashov: In goal against Hawks

Murashov will be between the pipes for Tuesday's road clash with Chicago, Michelle Crechiolo of the Penguins' official site reports.

Murashov has yet to pick up his first win of the season, despite posting a combined 2.46 GAA and .938 save percentage across his two starts. If the 22-year-old backstop continues to perform at this level, he should be able to at least force his way into a split-share crease, if not push for the No. 1 job outright.

  • Penguins' Andrei Kuzmenko: Playing Tuesday

Kuzmenko (personal) will be in the lineup against the Blackhawks on Tuesday, Michelle Crechiolo of the Penguins' official site reports.

Kuzmenko will slot back into a third-line role after missing the past three games for personal reasons. In addition to his spot on Ben Kindel's wing, the 30-year-old Kuzmenko should see time with the No. 2 power-play unit as he looks for his first point of the 2026-27 campaign.

  • Flames' Ethan Wyttenbach: Claims weekly honors

Wyttenbach was named the ECAC Forward of the Week on Monday.

Wyttenbach had a goal and three assists as Quinnipiac University swept the University of Maine across two games over the weekend. He's not looking like a one-year wonder -- the Flames prospect has three goals, five assists and a plus-5 rating through four contests for the Bobcats to open his sophomore year. Wyttenbach will continue to be a prospect to watch in the NCAA.

  • Nick Lardis LW | CHI

Blackhawks' Nick Lardis: Dropped to AHL

Lardis was assigned to AHL Rockford on Tuesday, per the NHL media site.

In a corresponding move, Chicago activated Connor Bedard (shoulder) from the injured non-roster list. Before Lardis' demotion, he had two assists, six shots on net, seven hits and three blocked shots in six NHL appearances this season.

  • Capitals' Logan Thompson: Facing Carolina Tuesday

Thompson will guard the home goal in Tuesday's clash against the Hurricanes, per Sammi Silber of The Hockey News.

Thompson will look to bounce back after his worst start of the season Sunday, where he yielded five goals in his lone loss of the year. Overall, the 29-year-old netminder has a 3-1-0 record, a 2.77 GAA and a .902 save percentage across four appearances to begin the new season. He'll get his second start of the season against the Hurricanes on Tuesday after stopping 31 shots against them in a 5-2 victory Oct. 2. He's a strong start in all fantasy formats moving forward.

  • Lukas Dostal G | ANA

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Tending twine Tuesday

Dostal will patrol the home paint in Tuesday's clash against the Flames, per Derek Lee of The Hockey News.

Dostal will look to keep momentum on his side in Tuesday's clash after he won his most recent appearance in a 5-1 victory over Winnipeg. The 26-year-old netminder has a 3-1-0 record, a 2.96 GAA and an .883 save percentage across four outings to begin the new campaign. He'll be slated to face the Flames, who have yet to find the win column across five outings, making Dostal one of the top players to start in fantasy Tuesday.

  • Golden Knights' Rasmus Andersson: Tallies in loss

Andersson scored a goal on four shots in Monday's 4-2 loss to the Wild.

Andersson got the Golden Knights on the board at 2:37 of the second period. The 29-year-old defenseman is off to a bit of a slow start with two points over seven games this season. His other production is lagging as well, with two hits, six blocked shots, 14 shots on net, eight PIM and a minus-7 rating. Andersson sees top-four minutes and power-play time, but Shea Theodore appears to be the top blueliner for Vegas in the early going.
