  • Lightning's Simon Lundmark: Placed on waivers

Lundmark was placed on waivers by the Lightning on Friday for the purpose of assignment to AHL Syracuse.

Lundmark made his NHL debut last year with a lone regular-season appearance with the Lightning in January, but he'll be left off the team's Opening Night roster ahead of the 2026-27 campaign. He made 54 regular-season appearances with Syracuse last year and recorded a goal, 10 assists and 22 PIM.

  • Jack Finley C | STL

Blues' Jack Finley: Hits waiver wire

Finley was designated for waivers by the Blues on Friday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.

Finley ended the 2025-26 campaign mired in a 32-game goal drought during which he managed just two assists and 16 shots while playing for the Lightning and the Blues. Considering the 24-year-old center was a waiver claim by the Blues in the first place, it's possible that the Lightning would be interested in picking him back up.

Rangers' Glenn Gawdin: Lands on waivers

Gawdin was put on waivers by the Rangers on Friday, according to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.

Gawdin had 16 goals, 51 points and 73 PIM in 71 regular-season appearances with AHL Ontario in 2025-26. The 29-year-old is expected to spend most, if not all, of the upcoming campaign in the minors.

  • Kole Lind RW | TB

Kole Lind: Let go by Tampa Bay

Lind was released from his professional tryout agreement by the Lightning on Friday.

Lind signed a professional tryout agreement with the Lightning in mid-September, but he'll be let go following a two-week stint with the organization. He spent most of the 2025-26 campaign with AHL Texas, where he recorded 11 goals, 24 assists and 95 PIM across 70 regular-season appearances.

  • Rangers' Marc Del Gaizo: Waived Friday

Del Gaizo was put on waivers by the Rangers on Friday, per Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.

Del Gaizo had nine goals and 27 points in 63 regular-season appearances with AHL Laval in 2025-26. He's part of the Rangers' organization as a result of the two-year, two-way deal he inked over the summer. Del Gaizo is likely to spend the vast majority of that contract playing in the AHL.

  • Luke Glendening: Released from PTO

Glendening was released from his professional tryout agreement by the Lightning on Friday.

Glendening signed a professional tryout agreement with Tampa Bay in mid-September but will be let go a week and a half later. The 37-year-old has made at least 70 NHL regular-season appearances in five consecutive seasons and could draw interest form other teams at some point during the 2026-27 campaign.

  • Sabres' Matt Villalta: Put on waivers

Villalta was placed on waivers by Buffalo on Friday.

Villalta posted a 3.10 GAA and an .895 save percentage in 33 regular-season appearances with AHL Tucson in 2025-26. While he's likely to get plenty of work with AHL Rochester if he clears waivers, he's behind Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, Alex Lyon (upper body) and Colten Ellis for Buffalo's organizational goaltending depth chart.

  • Carson Meyer RW | BUF

Sabres' Carson Meyer: Placed on waivers by Buffalo

Meyer was placed on waivers by the Sabres for the purpose of assignment to AHL Rochester on Friday.

Meyer spent the entire 2025-26 campaign in the AHL, where he recorded 14 goals, 17 assists and 24 PIM across 55 regular-season appearances with Rochester. He'll likely spend most, or all, of the 2026-27 season in the minors, assuming he clears waivers.

  • Jason Polin RW | BUF

Sabres' Jason Polin: Placed on waivers

Polin was put on waivers by Buffalo on Friday.
