  • Capitals' Logan Thompson: Starting against Wild

Thompson will start Sunday's home matchup against Minnesota, per Sammi Silber of The District Standard.

Thompson is coming off a 23-save performance in a 5-2 win over Philadelphia on Wednesday. He has permitted 22 goals on 227 shots during his 5-3-0 start to the 2026-27 campaign. Minnesota (9-3-3) is tied for 18th in the league this season with 3.13 goals per game.

  • Dan Vladar G | PHI

Flyers' Dan Vladar: Defending crease Sunday

Vladar will patrol the home crease against Utah on Sunday, per Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia.

Vladar is coming off an 11-save effort in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to Columbus. He has surrendered 23 goals on 205 shots during his 2-3-2 start to the 2026-27 campaign. Utah (9-5-0) sits seventh in the league with 3.64 goals per game this season.

  • Capitals' Dylan McIlrath: Going on waivers

McIlrath was placed on waivers Sunday, per Tom Gulitti of NHL.com.

McIlrath hasn't posted a point in four NHL outings with Washington this season, but he has earned three hits and two blocked shots. If he clears waivers, he will likely head to AHL Hershey.

  • Owen Tippett RW | PHI

Flyers' Owen Tippett: Removed from IR

Tippett (upper body) was activated from injured reserve Sunday, according to Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia.

Following a six-game absence, Tippett is slated to return to the lineup against Utah on Sunday. He has earned one goal, two points, 21 shots on net and 23 hits in nine appearances this season. Tippett should occupy a middle-six role and see time on the power play against the Mammoth on Sunday.

  • Andre Lee LW | LA

Kings' Andre Lee: Finds twine in loss

Lee scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Sabres.

The goal was Lee's first of the season. He's worked his way into a third-line role lately, though his ice time has been under 10 minutes in four straight contests. Lee has three points, 10 shots on net, 25 hits and a plus-3 rating over 11 appearances this season. He looks set to stay in the NHL all year, but Lee's playing time could drop once Kevin Fiala (lower leg) and Mats Zuccarello (upper body) are ready to return.

  • Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: Plucks two power-play apples in win

Dahlin logged a pair of power-play assists, two shots on goal and four PIM in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Kings.

Dahlin has produced a pair of helpers in back-to-back games for his first two multi-point efforts of the year. The star defenseman is up to nine points (five on the power play), 34 shots on net, 18 hits, 16 blocked shots, six PIM and a plus-4 rating across 11 appearances. In terms of all-around production, Dahlin is about as reliable as it gets in fantasy.

  • Zach Benson LW | BUF

Sabres' Zach Benson: Adds two more assists

Benson logged two assists, including one on the power play, and added four shots on net and two blocked shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Kings.

Benson has two goals and five helpers during a four-game point streak. The 21-year-old forward is finding success on the top line, and he's also helped to spark Tage Thompson's offense during the Sabres' three-game winning streak. Benson is up to two goals, 11 helpers, 33 shots on net, 18 hits, 12 PIM, eight blocked shots and a plus-10 rating over 14 appearances this season.

  • Travis Konecny RW | PHI

Flyers' Travis Konecny: Activated from injured reserve

Konecny (lower body) was activated from injured reserve Sunday, per Adam Kimelman of NHL.com.

After missing the last 10 games, Konecny is poised to play against Utah on Sunday. He has three assists, eight shots on net, four blocked shots and 11 hits in five appearances this season. Based on Saturday's practice, Konecny is projected to occupy a top-six role and see power-play time.

  • Sharks' Michael Misa: Nets lone goal in loss

Misa scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Senators.

Misa is picking up steam with three goals and an assist over his last six games. The 19-year-old continues to work in a second-line role in the absence of Alexander Wennberg (upper body). Misa has seven points, 17 shots on net, eight hits and a minus-5 rating over 15 appearances this season, a scoring pace identical to what yielded him 21 points in 45 games as a rookie in 2025-26.

  • Senators' Philip Tomasino: Helper in season debut

Tomasino notched an assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Sharks.

This was Tomasino's first game at the NHL level this season. He carried some momentum from his hot start in the AHL, and he should be able to fill a spot while the Senators wait for some injured wingers to return. He's seen NHL action in each of the last five campaigns, so a strong performance could help Tomasino stick around in a part-time role when the team gets healthy.
