  • Flyers' Aleksei Kolosov: Allows four goals in relief

Kolosov turned aside 14 of 18 shots in a 5-1 preseason loss to the Bruins on Tuesday.

Kolosov entered Tuesday's preseason matchup in the first period after Dan Vladar exited due to an upper-body injury. While Kolosov wasn't particularly sharp, he could be Joseph Woll's backup at the start of the regular season if Vladar's injury forces him to miss time. Kolosov made 21 regular-season appearances for the Flyers across the past two seasons, going 5-11-1 with a 3.64 GAA and an .863 save percentage.

  • Sharks' Yaroslav Askarov: Solid in exhibition loss

Askarov turned aside 22 of 23 shots in regulation in a 2-1 shootout loss to Vegas in Tuesday's preseason tilt.

Askarov struggled in 2025-26, finishing the regular season with a 21-20-4 record, 3.63 GAA and .883 save percentage in 47 outings with San Jose. However, he's still just 24 years old and is a highly regarded netminder, so it wouldn't be shocking to see him make strides in 2026-27. It helps that San Jose upgraded its defense over the summer by adding Darnell Nurse and Jacob Trouba.

  • Carter Hart G | LV

Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Strong in preseason victory

Hart stopped 28 of 29 shots in regulation en route to a 2-1 shootout win over San Jose in Tuesday's preseason action.

Hart posted an 11-3-3 record, 2.71 GAA and .891 save percentage in 18 regular-season appearances with Vegas in 2025-26. While those numbers leave something to be desired, he stepped up in the 2026 playoffs, posting a 14-8 record, 2.56 GAA and .907 save percentage in 22 starts to help the Golden Knights reach the Stanley Cup Finals. That strong postseason solidified his position as Vegas' No. 1 goaltender going into the 2026-27 campaign. Adin Hill is expected to enter the season as Hart's understudy.

  • Rangers' Spencer Martin: On waivers Wednesday

Martin will be waived by the Rangers on Wednesday, per Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic.

Martin had a 3.51 GAA and an .873 save percentage in 22 regular-season appearances with AHL Hartford in 2025-26. The 31-year-old is also a veteran of 72 career regular-season NHL outings, in which he's posted a 25-33-8 record, 3.60 GAA and .881 save percentage. Martin is expected to start the upcoming campaign in the minors if he clears waivers.

  • Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Will start Tuesday

Kuemper will protect the home goal in Tuesday's preseason game versus the Mammoth, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.

Kuemper is coming off a down year in which he went 19-14-15 with a 2.78 GAA and an .891 save percentage over 50 regular-season games. The 36-year-old netminder has a loose grip on the No. 1 job in goal for the Kings, but he'll be pushed by Anton Forsberg early in the campaign.

  • Carter Hart G | LV

Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Guarding goal Tuesday

Hart will guard the road goal in Tuesday's preseason game versus the Sharks, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.

Hart will get his first taste of preseason action in this contest. The 28-year-old netminder is poised to enter the season as the Golden Knights' top goalie.

  • Canucks' Kevin Lankinen: In goal Tuesday

Lankinen will protect the road goal in Tuesday's preseason game versus the Flames, Canucks play-by-play announcer Brendan Batchelor reports.

Lankinen will get his first start of the preseason. The 31-year-old netminder could be in line for No. 1 duties early in the season as Thatcher Demko (hip) continues to recover from his surgery. However, Lankinen has little fantasy appeal as the backstop for a rebuilding club.

  • Dan Vladar G | PHI

Flyers' Dan Vladar: Leaves game early

Vladar (upper body) won't return to Tuesday's preseason game versus the Bruins.

Vladar appeared to injure his arm or shoulder on the Bruins' first goal of the game. The 29-year-old's status will be up in the air until the Flyers provide an additional update. Vladar is the presumptive starter in goal for Philadelphia this year, but if he misses time, Joseph Woll would see a larger share of playing time.

  • Lightning's Dennis Hildeby: Guarding goal Tuesday

Hildeby will start Tuesday's road preseason matchup against Nashville, Lightning reporter Gabby Shirley reports.

Hildeby earned a 5-7-4 record with a 2.85 GAA and a .912 save percentage in 20 appearances for Toronto during the 2025-26 regular season. As a member of the Lightning, he will be Andrei Vasilevskiy's backup in the 2026-27 campaign.

  • Predators' Justus Annunen: Set to start Tuesday

Annunen will start Tuesday's home preseason game versus the Lightning, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.

Annunen will get in some preseason work as he prepares for another year as backup to Juuse Saros. In 2025-26, Annunen made some improvements with a 2.68 GAA and a .906 save percentage over 28 appearances. While he's unlikely to get a lot of work, Annunen will be a serviceable fantasy streaming option in low-scoring matchups.
