  • Flames' MacKenzie Weegar: Ends long slump

Weegar scored a goal on five shots, added two PIM, logged two hits and blocked four shots in Friday's 5-3 win over the Panthers.

Weegar put an 11-game point drought to rest, and the goal was his first of the season. The 31-year-old hasn't come anywhere close to matching his production from the last two years, as he's been hit particularly hard by the Flames' lackluster offense. For the year, he's at one goal, four helpers, 56 shots on net, 64 hits, 53 blocked shots, 33 PIM and a minus-20 rating through 26 outings. The non-scoring production is still steady, and he'll be interesting as a reclamation project in fantasy if he can get his offense on track.

  • Kings' Joel Edmundson: Lights lamp in shootout loss

Edmundson scored a goal on four shots and added two hits in Friday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Ducks.

Edmundson has three points over his last two games. The 32-year-old has chipped in a surprisingly decent level of offense while seeing top-four minutes this season. He's up to two goals, 11 points, 36 shots on net, 29 hits, 28 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through 24 appearances. He's well on his way to reaching the 20-point mark for the third time, and exceeding that threshold would give him a career year.

  • Senators' Thomas Chabot: Moves to IR

Chabot (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, per the NHL media site.

Ottawa recalled Dennis Gilbert from AHL Belleville on Saturday in a corresponding move. Chabot has missed six of the last seven games. He probably won't be an option for the rest of the team's road trip, which ends against Montreal on Tuesday, but it's unclear when he will be ready to return to the lineup. Chabot has earned two goals, 10 points, 22 shots on net, 36 blocked shots and 13 hits across 18 appearances this season.

  • Senators' Dennis Gilbert: Called up from AHL

Gilbert was recalled from AHL Belleville on Saturday.

The Senators recalled the defenseman 12 days after dealing Maxence Guenette to Philadelphia for Gilbert. The 29-year-old Gilbert played four regular-season games with Ottawa in 2024-25, picking up one assist, and he signed with the Flyers in the offseason as an unrestricted free agent. The Senators placed defenseman Thomas Chabot (upper body) on injured reserve in a corresponding move.

  • Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Finds twine Friday

Mintyukov scored a goal on two shots in Friday's 5-4 shootout win over the Kings.

Mintyukov has played in three straight games after being scratched for the three previous contests. The 22-year-old could still get pinched out of the lineup as he competes with Ian Moore for playing time. Mintyukov hasn't done much to secure his spot this season, posting one goal, four points, 16 shots on net, 12 hits, 24 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over 21 outings in a third-pairing role.

  • Ducks' Olen Zellweger: Tallies in shootout win

Zellweger scored a goal on two shots in Friday's 5-4 shootout win over the Kings.

Zellweger has two goals and an assist during his three-game point streak. The 22-year-old defenseman is up to four goals, nine points, 51 shots on net, 28 blocked shots, 14 PIM and a plus-9 rating over 24 outings. Zellweger hasn't reached his full potential on offense, but he's shown growth from his 20-point effort over 62 appearances in 2024-25.

  • Islanders' Matthew Schaefer: Two points Friday

Schaefer scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Friday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Flyers.

Schaefer ended his five-game point drought with an assist in a 3-1 loss to the Bruins on Wednesday. Now, he ended his six-game goal drought with a wrister at the 8:11 mark of the second period, giving him eight goals on the year. The frontrunner for the Calder Trophy, Schaefer has 18 points (eight goals, 10 assists) across 25 games this season while posting a solid plus-9 rating.

  • Will Borgen D | BOS

Rangers' Will Borgen: Removed from IR

Borgen (upper body) was activated from injured reserve Saturday, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.

After missing seven of the last eight games, Borgen appears to be available to return to the lineup against Tampa Bay on Saturday. He has collected one goal, three points, 16 shots on net, 24 blocked shots and 26 hits across 19 appearances this campaign.

  • Devils' Brenden Dillon: Tallies pair of points

Dillon scored a goal, tallied an assist, fired two shots on goal and had two hits in Friday's 5-0 shutout win over Buffalo.

Dillon lit the lamp less than two minutes into the third period before assisting Paul Cotter's goal minutes later. With the pair of points, Dillon has three goals, six assists, 20 shots on goal, 63 hits and 42 blocks through 24 games this season. The 15-year NHL veteran has provided high-level category coverage to start the season and is on pace for his eighth regular season with 100-plus blocks and 100-plus hits. Dillon's all-around showing through the first quarter of the season makes him a solid fantasy option from the blue line in deep leagues.

  • Flames' Rasmus Andersson: Two helpers in Friday's win

Andersson picked up two assists, one on the power play, while adding three shots on net, three blocked shots, one hit, two PIM and a plus-1 rating in Friday's 5-3 win over the Panthers.

The veteran blueliner continues to bolster his trade value. Andersson has produced multiple points in four of the last six games, erupting for two goals and 11 points during that stretch while also recording 17 blocked shots, 11 shots on net, six PIM and a plus-2 rating. He's up to five goals and 18 points in 26 contests on the season, putting Andersson on pace to top the career-high 50 points in 82 regular-season games he delivered for the Flames in 2021-22.
