Compher (undisclosed) will not be available versus the Devils on Tuesday, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports.
Compher had been practicing with the team, leading to speculation that he would be ready in time to face New Jersey. Still, it's a step in the right direction for the 31-year-old center and leaves open the possibility that he plays against the Flyers on Thursday.
