Compher (undisclosed) is expected to be in the lineup versus Vancouver on Thursday, Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Compher will make his return following a seven-game stint on the sidelines due to his undisclosed injury. With the 31-year-old forward returning, the Wings will likely go back to utilizing 12 forwards, which means Andreas Englund could find himself relegated to the press box as a healthy scratch.
