  • Packers' Xavier McKinney: Restructuring contract

McKinney's $4.25 million salary will be converted to a bonus for 2026, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.

The Packers are restructuring McKinney's contract to free up cap space. McKinney is entering the third year of a four-year, $67 million contract he signed with Green Bay in March of 2024. He has compiled 10 interceptions and 195 tackles in his first two regular seasons with the Packers as one of the NFL's best safeties.

  • Darnell Mooney WR | NYG

Falcons' Darnell Mooney: Set to be released

The Falcons are planning to release Mooney when the new league year begins March 11, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Mooney had just 32 catches for 443 yards and one touchdown in 15 appearances during a disappointing 2025 season. Releasing the 28-year-old wide receiver prior to the final year of his three-year, $39 million contract will save the Falcons $7.4 million in cap space. Mooney had 992 receiving yards over 16 games with Atlanta in the 2024, so he's likely to garner some interest once he hits the open market.

  • Shy Tuttle DT | WAS

Commanders' Shy Tuttle: Back with Washington

The Commanders re-signed Tuttle to a one-year contract Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Tuttle signed a one-year deal with the Titans last August and appeared in 10 games for the team before being cut in December. He was claimed off waivers by Washington and notched four tackles (one solo) in two games with the Commanders. Tuttle will compete for a role on the defensive line this offseason.

  • Jawaan Taylor: Officially released by Kansas City

The Chiefs released Taylor on Wednesday, Pete Sweeney of The Kansas City Star reports.

The move saves the Chiefs $20 million against the salary cap. Taylor signed a four-year, $80 million deal with Kansas City ahead of the 2023 season, and he started 45 regular-season games for the team. Taylor also started seven playoff contests, helping the Chiefs win the 2023 Super Bowl. Taylor, however, was top-three in penalties at his position in every season he spent with KC.

  • Cameron Goode LB | MIA

Dolphins' Cameron Goode: Re-signs with Miami

The Dolphins re-signed Goode on Wednesday.

Goode appeared in all 17 regular-season games last season, making one start, and recorded 22 tackles (eight solo) and one pass breakup. He logged 108 snaps on defense and another 318 on special teams.

  • Savion Washington: Cut by Bolts

The Chargers waived Washington (undisclosed) on Wednesday.

Washington spent last season on the reserve/PUP list with an undisclosed injury. He'll now look for an opportunity elsewhere. Washington has yet to appear in a regular-season NFL contest.

  • Mekhi Becton OT | LAC

Mekhi Becton: Released by Los Angeles

The Chargers released Becton on Wednesday.

Becton signed a two-year, $20 million deal with the Chargers last offseason after winning the Super Bowl with the Eagles. In his lone season with Los Angeles, Becton appeared in 15 regular-season games, making 14 starts at right guard. He wasn't the same player he was with Philadelphia and will now be hunting for a new team.

  • Winston Reid LB | CLE

Browns' Winston Reid: Tendered by Cleveland

The Browns placed an exclusive rights free-agent tender on Reid (back) on Wednesday.

After appearing in 16 regular-season games as a rookie in 2024, Reid missed the entire 2025 campaign with a back injury he suffered last summer. Reid will compete for a job under the Browns' new coaching staff this offseason.

  • Christian Izien SAF | DET

Buccaneers' Christian Izien: Not tendered by Tampa Bay

The Bucs will not extend a restricted free agent tender to Izien prior to the start of the new league year next Wednesday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Izien, therefore, will be allowed to become an unrestricted free agent. The 25-year-old has appeared in 45 regular-season games for the Bucs over the last three seasons, logging 165 tackles (111 solo), five pass breakups, including three interceptions, and three forced fumbles.

  • Commanders' Deatrich Wise: Inks new deal with Washington

The Commanders re-signed Wise (quadriceps) to a one-year contract Wednesday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.

Wise was slated to become a free agent next week, but he's sticking in Washington after appearing in just two games last season before suffering a season-ending quadriceps injury in Week 2 against the Packers. Wise will turn 32 years old in July and has 34.0 career sacks across nine seasons.
