  • Tyjae Spears RB | TEN

Titans' Tyjae Spears: Disappears from offense again

Spears rushed the ball six times for two yards in Sunday's 34-26 loss to the Saints. He added one reception on two targets for minus-2 yards.

Spears saw a significant uptick in usage in Week 16 and tallied 105 yards from scrimmage. However, he returned to a complementary role in Week 17, earning only seven touches compared to 20 for Tony Pollard. Spears was also shut down as both a rusher and receiver, and he's now been held below five rushing yards in four of his last seven games.

  • Bears' Colston Loveland: Expanded role on SNF

Loveland finished with six receptions on 10 targets for 94 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 42-38 loss to San Francisco.

The rookie tight end was asked to take on a larger role in the passing game with wideouts Rome Odunze (foot) and Olamide Zaccheaus (illness) sitting out Sunday Night Football in Week 17. Loveland responded to the moment with a 36-yard touchdown in the first half while finishing the primetime loss with his second largest fantasy score as a pro. The Michigan product has come on strong over his last nine contests, averaging 56.2 yards per game while scoring all five of his touchdowns this season over that span. TE Cole Kmet remained involved with two receptions for 16 yards, but Loveland is the Chicago tight end to target in fantasy when the Bears face the Lions in Week 18.

  • Kyle Monangai RB | CHI

Bears' Kyle Monangai: Gains 47 yards Sunday

Monangai handled eight carries for 38 yards and caught three of four targets for nine yards in Sunday's 42-38 loss to the 49ers.

Monangai and D'Andre Swift (9-54-2) both averaged well over 4.0 yards per carry against the 49ers' porous run defense Sunday, but the latter's pair of rushing touchdowns gave the veteran counterpart of Chicago's backfield duo the fantasy edge in Week 17. Monangai has cooled off a bit since exploding on the scene midseason, averaging 44.5 rushing yards per game with no touchdowns over his last four contests. That said, the seventh-round rookie remains a featured piece on offense for Chicago heading into a Week 18 matchup against the Lions.

  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: Quiet in win over Bucs

Washington secured one of three targets for four yards during Sunday's 20-17 win over Tampa Bay. He also carried the ball once for one yard.

Washington failed to make a significant impact in the receiving game Sunday despite the fact that Jaylen Waddle was forced to the sideline due to a ribs injury midway through the second quarter and didn't return to action until late in the third. Overall, Washington's most significant contribution to Miami's win over the Buccaneers may have been the 47-yard kick return he managed late in the third quarter. He'll have one more chance to demonstrate chemistry with Quinn Ewers in the Dolphins' regular-season finale on the road at New England in Week 18.

  • D'Andre Swift RB | CHI

Bears' D'Andre Swift: Re-emerges with two TDs on SNF

Swift took nine carries for 54 yards and a pair of touchdowns while adding two receptions on three targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 42-38 loss to the 49ers.

Swift actually finished with fewer carries and less yardage than in his quiet fantasy outing against the Packers in Week 16, but he was able to do far more with less against the 49ers on Sunday Night Football. The 26-year-old averaged 6.0 yards per carry while scoring multiple rushing touchdowns for the second time over his last three starts. Swift and backfield mate Kyle Monangai (11 touches for 47 yards) split work evenly as they have been doing for most of the season, with the veteran outshining the rookie this time around. Fantasy managers can confidently start both of Chicago's talented backs in the regular-season finale against the Lions.

  • Caleb Williams QB | CHI

Bears' Caleb Williams: Throws for 330 yards on SNF

Williams completed 25 of 42 pass attempts for 330 yards and two touchdowns while adding 18 rushing yards on five attempts in Sunday's 42-38 loss to San Francisco.

Williams was engaged in a classic shootout with 49ers QB Brock Purdy (303 yards, five total TDs) with both signal-callers cracking the 300-yard mark while tossing multiple touchdowns. For Williams, it was the first time through 16 starts in 2025 in which he eclipsed 300 passing yards in a single game. The improving sophomore had an opportunity to throw a third score and win the game in the closing moments of Sunday Night Football, only to watch his pass come up a yard short of a fully extended Luther Burden (leg) in the end zone as time expired. Williams has now thrown multiple touchdown passes in four consecutive starts with an improved yardage total in each game. His recent hot streak coupled with a soft matchup against the Lions makes Williams a strong fantasy play in Week 18.

  • Raiders' Tyler Lockett: Two catches in Week 17

Lockett recorded two receptions on three targets for nine yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Giants.

Despite the absence of Jack Bech (back) and Brock Bowers (knee), Lockett continued to fade in the Raiders' offense. He has four or fewer targets in five consecutive contests and has surpassed 11 yards only once in that span. However, we was able to come away with a non-disastrous fantasy line Sunday thanks to a four-yard touchdown catch late in the third quarter. That was his first TD of 2025 and his first score since Week 9 of last season.

  • 49ers' Christian McCaffrey: Season-high 140 rushing yards

McCaffrey took 23 carries for 140 yards and a touchdown while corralling four of six targets for 41 yards in Sunday's 42-38 win over the Bears.

McCaffrey shouldered a heavier load on offense with star TE George Kittle (ankle) missing in action Sunday, resulting in a season-high 140 rushing yards from CMC. The 29-year-old's scamper to the end zone in the second quarter brought him up to an even 10 rushing scores on the year. McCaffrey has reached double-digit rushing touchdowns three times in his storied career, accomplishing the feat twice as a member of the 49ers. The versatile tailback's modest receiving totals on SNF puts a potential 1,000-1,000 season in jeopardy, as he would need 110 receiving yards in Week 18 in order to accomplish the incredible feat for the second time in his career. Fantasy managers should expect a heavy dose of the fantasy stud against the Seahawks with the NFC's No. 1 seed and a first-round bye on the line in the regular-season finale.

  • Tre Tucker WR | LV

Raiders' Tre Tucker: Tallies 49 yards

Tucker recorded five receptions on six targets for 49 yards in Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Giants.

Tucker saw a slight uptick in targets due to Jack Bech (back) and Brock Bowers (knee) both being sidelined, finishing second on the team in targets. He was involved early, recording three receptions for 35 yards on the Raiders' second offensive possession. Tucker should see at least a handful of targets in Week 18 against the Chiefs, though the offense isn't likely to experience much success with Kenny Pickett under center.

  • Brock Purdy QB | SF

49ers' Brock Purdy: Another five-TD performance

Purdy completed 24 of 33 pass attempts for 303 yards, three touchdowns and one interception while taking six carries for 28 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 42-38 win over Chicago.

Purdy followed up his career game against the Colts on Monday Night Football in Week 16 (295 yards, five TD passes) by dropping another five-score bonanza on the Bears in a second consecutive primetime victory. The 25-year-old looked Mahomes-esque in the third quarter while dancing through multiple defenders behind the line of scrimmage before ultimately dumping the ball off to an open Kyle Juszczyk for the second of three touchdown strikes. Purdy's improved movement and gaudy passing numbers since the 49ers' Week 14 bye (297.7 passing yards/game with 15 total TDs in three starts) indicate that the signal-caller is finally fully healed from the turf toe injury that derailed the earlier portions of his 2025 campaign. With the 12-4 49ers needing just one win to secure the No. 1 seed in the NFC and a first-round bye, fantasy managers can expect to see Purdy's best against the Seahawks in Week 18.
