Jacquizz Rodgers RB | NO
Buccaneers' Jacquizz Rodgers: Logs four offensive touches in OT win
Rodgers rushed three times for eight yards and brought in his only target for 11 yards in the Buccaneers' 26-23 overtime win over the Browns on Sunday.
The Bucs changed things up on the playing time front Sunday, with Rodgers logging a robust 30 snaps from scrimmage and one more offensive play than rookie Ronald Jones. There's no indication yet that this is more than a one-game aberration, as Rodgers had been limited to special teams work since Jones was first activated in Week 4 against the Bears.

Matt Breida RB | SF
49ers' Matt Breida: Will be re-evaluated after aggravating injury
Head coach Kyle Shanahan said that the team will have to reassess the health of Breida's ankle this upcoming week, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Breida aggravated his ankle sprain on his first carry in Sunday's 39-10 loss to the Rams. The 23-year-old was able to return to the contest and finished with five carries for 15 yards and a lost fumble before ultimately being shut down again in the blowout. While his return was a positive sign, the team may opt to take a long-term approach to the recovery process as opposed to rushing him back into action Week 8 against the Cardinals. Expect more updates on Breida's health later this week during practice. Raheem Mostert and Alfred Morris likely would split rushing duties if Breida is given an extra week of recovery time.

Joe Mixon RB | HOU
Bengals' Joe Mixon: Gains 50 yards in loss
Mixon rushed 13 times for 50 yards and added three receptions for just one yard in Sunday's 45-10 loss to Kansas City.
Mixon nearly had the backfield to himself with Giovani Bernard (knee) still sidelined with an injury. The second-year back was unable to take advantage of the opportunity, averaging just 3.8 yards per carry before falling out of the gameplan due to game script. Mixon will look to bounce back in a soft matchup against the Buccaneers on Sunday.

Raheem Mostert RB | LV
49ers' Raheem Mostert: Heads backfield in loss to Rams
Mostert carried seven times for 59 yards and caught four passes for an additional 19 yards during Sunday's 39-10 loss to the Rams.
Despite the presence of Matt Breida and Alfred Morris, Mostert led the team in touches and scrimmage yards out of the backfield. Neither of his aforementioned teammates averaged better than 3.0 yards per carry, making his mark of 8.4 that much more impressive. Mostert has emerged over the last two weeks and could earn even more of a role for next Sunday's game against the Cardinals. This backfield committee should remain intact, however, and could be difficult to predict on a game-by-game basis.

Ezekiel Elliott RB | LAC
Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: Shut down in loss
Elliott rushed 15 times for 33 yards and added nine yards on two receptions in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Redskins.
Except for the catch total, all of those numbers represent season lows for the stud running back. The Redskins clearly made it part of their game plan to contain Elliott, and they were successful. Nevertheless, the Ohio State product remains one of the game's elite backs. He'll have a bye week to rest up before attempting to rebound at home against Tennessee in Week 9.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Runs for touchdown in win
Kamara rushed for 64 yards on 17 carries and added 11 yards on two catches during Sunday's 24-23 win over Baltimore.
Kamara barreled through the Baltimore defense for a 2-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter, launching a 17-point fourth quarter and a comeback win. After averaging 152.8 yards per game during the season's first four weeks, Kamara has been held to 57 yards per game since the return of Mark Ingram. Part of that modest yield can be explained by Week 5's blowout win over Washington, but how Kamara is used is worth keeping an eye on. Fans should be encouraged that it was Kamara who earned the short fourth-quarter plunge after Ingram scored on two short runs in Week 5. A stingy Minnesota run defense, surrendering just 3.9 yards per opponent rush, awaits next Sunday.

Benny Cunningham RB | JAC
Bears' Benny Cunningham: Fails to record an offensive touch
Cunningham wasn't given a rushing attempt or pass target in Sunday's loss to the Patriots.
After carrying the football three times last week, Cunningham returned to his role as primarily a special-teams player. With just four touches and 17 yards on the season, he's not a player who can be counted on in fantasy lineups.
-
Corey Clement RB | ARI
Eagles' Corey Clement: Totals 22 scrimmage yards versus Panthers
Clement carried eight times for six yards and caught two passes for 16 more yards during Sunday's 21-17 loss to the Panthers.
Clement finished just one carry behind Wendell Smallwood for the team lead, but he did next to nothing on the ground as he averaged just 0.8 yards per carry. He hauled in both balls thrown his way, but he did little outside of an 11-yard gain and finished with his lowest scrimmage yardage total since Week 1. Clement had made a splash in recent performances and will look to bounce back next Sunday against the Jaguars.
-
Chase Edmonds RB | WAS
Cardinals' Chase Edmonds: Racks up 21 yards from scrimmage
Edmonds totaled five carries for nine yards and three catches (on three targets) for 12 yards during Thursday's 45-10 loss to the Broncos.
In what quickly became a blowout, the Cardinals gave Edmonds his most run of the season -- 22 snaps on offense -- which he turned into his second-most yards from scrimmage (21) as a professional. The Cardinals axed offensive coordinator Mike McCoy on Friday, so it remains to be seen if Edmonds' workload will be little more than scraps left behind by starter David Johnson, or something more. At the very least, Edmonds' do-it-all skill set allows him to get involved in all aspects of the offense.

Kenjon Barner RB | TB
Patriots' Kenjon Barner: Rushes 10 times following Michel injury
Barner rushed 10 times for 36 yards and didn't draw a target in the passing game during Sunday's 38-31 win over the Bears.
The Patriots love their running back committees, and Barner was the next man up to join James White after Sony Michel left the game with a knee injury. White dominated the touches battle with 11 carries and eight catches (including two touchdowns), but Barner would be in line to receive some early-down work if Michel's unable to return by the time New England clashes with the Bills on Monday Night Football in Week 8.
