Jonathan Taylor RB | IND
Colts' Jonathan Taylor: Likely done for season
Taylor was diagnosed with right high-ankle sprain after exiting Saturday's 39-36 overtime loss to the Vikings and is considered highly unlikely to play again this season, sources tell Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Taylor is scheduled to meet with doctors over the next day or two before Indianapolis decides on his status for the final three regular-season games, but with the 4-9-1 Colts on the cusp of being eliminated from the playoffs, there's little incentive to expose their franchise running back to further injury. Assuming Taylor is sidelined for the next three weeks, he'll finish the 2022 campaign with 861 rushing yards and four scores on the ground to go with 28 receptions for 143 yards on 40 targets over his 11 appearances. The Colts appear set to proceed with Zack Moss as their top early-down back and Deon Jackson as their top change-of-pace option the rest of the way.

Gary Brightwell RB | CIN
Giants' Gary Brightwell: Loses role on offense
Brightwell did not log any offensive snaps in New York's Week 15 win over the Commanders. He played on 15 special-teams snaps and tallied 21 yards on his lone kickoff return.
With Saquon Barkley limited last week against the Eagles, Brightwell saw a season-high 21 offensive snaps and tallied 41 total yards. However, Barkley was back at full strength Sunday, pushing Brightwell out of the offense entirely. Matt Breida looks to have a secure hold on the minimal backup touches behind Barkley, so Brightwell could be in line for more games like this one during which he works exclusively as a special teamer.

Matt Breida RB | SF
Giants' Matt Breida: Gets minimal touches in Week 15
Breida rushed twice for six yards and caught his lone target for six yards in Sunday's 20-12 win over Washington.
Breida saw a season-high snap count last week against the Eagles, but with Saquon Barkley back at full strength, Breida returned to a less prominent role with just 11 snaps Sunday. Nearly all of his production came on a second-quarter drive during which he logged a five-yard rush and a six-yard reception to help set up a Barkley rushing touchdown. Breida hasn't exceeded 15 total yards or scored a touchdown in the Giants' past four games, so he has almost no fantasy value except as a stash in case of a Barkley injury.

Brian Robinson Jr. RB | ATL
Commanders' Brian Robinson: Hits century mark in total yards
Robinson had 12 carries for 89 yards and caught his lone target for 18 yards in Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Giants.
Robinson came out of Washington's bye week and posted a nearly identical line to his last game against these same Giants back in Week 13. The 2022 third-round selection continued to outproduce and out-touch veteran Antonio Gibson (5/21/0), further establishing himself as the Commanders' lead back and preferred fantasy option. Robinson has hit the century mark in total yards in three consecutive weeks, with his lack of touchdowns -- three through 10 games -- being the only blemish on a strong rookie campaign. All of Washington's position players should take slight projection hits with a tough matchup looming against San Francisco's elite defense Saturday.

Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Giants' Saquon Barkley: Carries offense in crucial win
Barkley rushed 18 times for 87 yards and touchdown while adding 33 receiving yards on five receptions (eight targets) in Sunday's 20-12 win over Washington.
Barkley was dealing with a neck injury last week, but that didn't stop him from putting the team on his back in a pivotal Week 15 NFC East matchup. The star running back accounted for 42 percent of New York's offensive output and scored the team's lone offensive touchdown. This premier performance came at just the right time for many fantasy managers who are in the thick of the playoffs, as Barkley was banged up and averaged less than four yards per carry over his previous four contests. Expect the Giants to lean heavily on the 25-year-old when they take on the Vikings on Saturday.

Rachaad White RB | WAS
Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Struggles in start
White rushed 11 times for 38 yards and caught one of two targets for five yards in Sunday's 34-23 loss to the Bengals.
It was a tough draw on paper for White and the Buccaneers' rushing attack, and the matchup lived up to the billing. White technically started the contest, but he saw a near-even split in touches with Leonard Fournette (12 to 14). The third-round pick from this year's draft has performed adequately since taking on a larger role to help the struggling Fournette, but neither back can truly thrive while the other cannibalizes carries. Both White and Fournette should be considered fringe fantasy options ahead of Sunday's tilt against Arizona.

Joshua Kelley RB | TEN
Chargers' Joshua Kelley: Gets into end zone Sunday
Kelley carried the ball 10 times for 24 yards and a touchdown and caught one of two targets for seven yards in Sunday's 17-14 win over the Titans.
Austin Ekeler left the game briefly in the first quarter to be checked out for an arm injury, and while the Chargers' starting RB returned to the field quickly, Kelley still wound up tying his season high in carries while scoring his second TD of the year on a one-yard plunge. Assuming Ekeker is 100 percent, expect him to return to his usual limited role in Week 16, although that could still offer Kelley some deep-league fantasy upside against a Colts defense that has collapsed over the last two weeks.

Austin Ekeler RB | WAS
Chargers' Austin Ekeler: Gets into end zone Sunday
Ekeler carried the ball 12 times for 58 yards and a touchdown and caught two of three targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 17-14 win over the Titans.
The running back got checked out for a possible arm injury after the Chargers' first drive of the game but returned quickly, although Ekeler wound up ceding more work than usual to Joshua Kelley the rest of the way. Ekeler's three-yard TD run in the fourth quarter was his ninth rushing touchdown and 14th total score of the season, and he's 173 yards short of his third career campaign with at least 1,500. He'll look to pad those numbers considerably in Week 16 against a Colts defense that's been trampled by Dalvin Cook and the Cowboys duo of Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott over its last two games.
-
Joe Mixon RB | HOU
Bengals' Joe Mixon: Struggles on ground
Mixon was held to 21 rushing yards on 11 carries Sunday, adding five receptions (six targets) for 33 yards in a 34-23 win over Tampa Bay.
Mixon was unable to take advantage of the gaping hole left in the middle of Tampa Bay's rush defense by the absence of star nose tackle Vita Vea (calf). The 26-year-old has been prone to these duds in 2022, as he now has four games of less than 30 rushing yards and no touchdowns. Mixon's overall numbers have been boosted by a monster four-touchdown game against Carolina in Week 9, but it hasn't been smooth sailing for fantasy managers who took the back high in drafts this year. Mixon will look to rebound against the Patriots on Saturday.

Derrick Henry RB | BAL
Titans' Derrick Henry: Tops century mark in loss
Henry carried the ball 21 times for 104 yards and a touchdown and caught all four of his targets for 59 yards in Sunday's 17-14 loss to the Chargers.
The running back led the Titans in both rushing yards and receiving yards but didn't get much help from the rest of his offense. Henry racked up his second straight 100-yard game and his seventh of the season, but he continues to look up at the Raiders' Josh Jacobs for the NFL rushing crown. However, Henry could close the gap significantly in Week 16 against a Texans defense he's torched for more than 200 rushing yards each of the last four times he's faced it.
