  • C.J. Stroud QB | HOU

Texans' C.J. Stroud: Another full practice

    Stroud (concussion) practiced fully Thursday.

Back-to-back full practices have Stroud trending toward a return to action Sunday against the Colts. Friday's final injury report will confirm the QB's Week 13 game status, but Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston indicates that the expectation is that Stroud is in line to be officially cleared.

  • Buccaneers' Baker Mayfield: Limited Thursday

Mayfield (left shoulder) was listed as limited on Thursday's practice report.

Mayfield missed the second half of this past Sunday's loss at the Rams with a left shoulder injury that eventually was revealed to be a sprained AC joint. He then opened Week 13 prep with no activity at Wednesday's walkthrough before the Buccaneers upgraded his activity level one day later. Mayfield thus will have one more chance to prove his health this week, at which point Friday's injury report will reveal his odds to suit up Sunday against the Cardinals. Teddy Bridgewater is on hand to lead the offense if Mayfield ends up sidelined this weekend.

  • Jameis Winston QB | NYG

Giants' Jameis Winston: Back to backup role

Winson is positioned to operate as the No. 2 quarterback behind Jaxson Dart, who cleared the concussion protocol Thursday, versus the Patriots on Monday Night Football.

Winston kept the Giants competitive in both of his starts while Dart was unavailable, though New York ultimately lost by one score to the Packers in Week 11 and in overtime to the Lions in Week 12. Across those two games, Winston completed 37 of 65 pass attempts for 567 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. He also rushed seven times for 23 yards and another score. While Winston will now revert to the bench, bumping Russell Wilson down to the No. 3 role, he remains a high-upside backup stash in fantasy formats that allow multiple starting quarterbacks.

  • Jaxson Dart QB | NYG

Giants' Jaxson Dart: Clears concussion protocol

Dart was listed as full on Thursday's estimated practice report, and the Giants announced that the rookie quarterback officially cleared the concussion protocol, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.

When interim head coach Mike Kafka spoke to the media Wednesday, he told Evan Barnes of Newsday that Dart remained in the protocol for head injuries, but as of the Giants posting their first Week 13 injury report, he's now received clearance for his first game action since Week 10. Dart thus is poised to resume directing the offense Monday at New England, while Jameis Winston will return to a backup role.

  • Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT

Steelers' Aaron Rodgers: Practices in full Thursday

Rodgers (wrist) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.com reports.

Rodgers' unrestricted practice level effectively confirms Ian Rapoport of NFL Network's report that the veteran quarterback is on track to return to the starting lineup for Sunday's contest against the Bills. Rodgers missed Week 12 due to a non-displaced fracture to his non-throwing wrist, and per Saunders still wore a cast at Thursday's practice. It's possible he'll still have the wrist stabilized during Sunday's game. Top wideout DK Metcalf (ankle) also practiced in full Thursday.

  • Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT

Steelers' Aaron Rodgers: Back at practice

Rodgers (left wrist) returned to practice Thursday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.

Per Pryor, Rodgers' left wrist was stabilized, but after missing Wednesday's session, the QB's return to the field a day later is nonetheless a positive development ahead of Sunday's game against the Bills. The Steelers' upcoming injury report is slated to clarify Rodgers' official participation level Thursday.

  • Daniel Jones QB | IND

Colts' Daniel Jones: Works fully through fibula issue

Jones (fibula) was listed as full practice participant Thursday.

After being listed as limited in Wednesday's walkthrough, Jones worked fully a day later, though James Boyd of The Athletic noted that the QB didn't look as fluid as normal during Thursday's session. That's not surprising, given that NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Jones is dealing with a fractured fibula. While Rapoport indicates that it's an injury Jones is not concerned about, it will still be worth circling back Friday to confirm the signal-caller's final game status ahead of Sunday's game against the Texans.

  • Daniel Jones QB | IND

Colts' Daniel Jones: Managing fracture in fibula, per report

Jones, who is dealing with a fracture in his fibula, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, will continue to try to play through the issue.

Per the report, Jones -- who was listed as limited in Wednesday's walkthrough -- was a full participant in Thursday's session, with one source saying the QB "looked good." Meanwhile, James Boyd of The Athletic previously noted during the practice that Jones "does not look as fluid as normal," with Rapoport's report adding notable context to that observation. In any case, the QB's status now will need to be monitored as Sunday's game against the Texans approaches.

  • Desmond Ridder: Joins Minnesota practice squad

Ridder signed with the Vikings' practice squad Thursday.

The quarterback was with the team earlier in the season when J.J. McCarthy was sidelined with an ankle injury, but he was waived in early October. With McCarthy now working through the concussion protocol and Carson Wentz out for the year with a shoulder injury, Ridder is back. Max Brosmer is taking first-team reps for the Vikings this week, though McCarthy did practice on a limited basis Wednesday.

  • C.J. Stroud QB | HOU

Texans' C.J. Stroud: Full practice, still in protocol

Stroud (concussion) practiced fully Wednesday, DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN.com reports.

Per Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston, at this stage of the week Stroud remains in the NFL's concussion protocol, but the QB is expected to be cleared ahead of Sunday's game against the Colts. Friday's final Week 13 injury report is slated to reveal whether Stroud heads into the weekend with a designation, but barring a setback it looks like he's poised to see his first game action since Week 9.
