McCoy is a candidate for the starting QB assignment Week 5 against New England, JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington reports.

Case Keenum and Dwayne Haskins both looked terrible in Sunday's 24-3 loss to the Giants, combining for 5.1 yards per pass attempt, four interceptions, three sacks and no touchdowns. It didn't help that Washington played the game without Terry McLaurin (hamstring), Jordan Reed (concussion) and two starting offensive linemen, but the quarterbacks only made things worse. McCoy missed the early part of the year with a leg injury but was a healthy scratch Sunday, after logging full practice participation throughout the week.

Bridgewater completed 23 of 30 pass attempts for 193 yards and an interception in Sunday's 12-10 win over the Cowboys.

Bridgewater wasn't able to lead a touchdown drive against a tough Dallas defense, but the backup was able to keep the chains moving between the 20s and provide just enough to help secure a close victory. The 26-year-old may not put up enough statistics to warrant fantasy relevance, but he is helping fantasy owners by feeding the team's two star players (Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas) on a weekly basis. Bridgewater has a propensity to hit the safe underneath routes, so we shouldn't expect huge numbers even in a soft matchup against the Buccaneers next Sunday.

Prescott completed 22 of 33 pass attempts for 223 yards and an interception in Sunday's 12-10 loss to New Orleans.

The Saints' defense dialed up the perfect gameplan to contain the Cowboys' power run scheme, limiting the team's star trio to minimal gains on each attempt. Prescott's line -- and the Dallas' fortunes -- wouldn't have been as bad if the quarterback was able to convert just one extra drive into a touchdown. This rough matchup brought Prescott's production back down to earth after the signal caller averaged 306.7 passing yards and three touchdowns per game against three mediocre defenses to begin the season. The 26-year-old will face another stiff test in the Packers on Sunday, which may force fantasy owners to take a look at quarterbacks with better matchups next week.

Minshew went 19-for-33 for 213 yards and two touchdowns in Week 4 against Denver.

Minshew led the Jaguars from behind with two long drives after halftime, concluding each with a passing touchdown. Though he began the game by completing just 9 of his 18 pass attempts, Minshew closed the game by going 10-for-15 to put forth another solid stat-line. Though he's thrown seven touchdowns as opposed to just one interception this season, Minshew has not been particularly efficient in his three starts by averaging 6.6 yards per attempt. Still, he's led the team to two victories and will once again be under center in Week 5 against the Panthers.

Murray completed 22 of 32 pass attempts for 241 yards and threw one interception during Sunday's 27-10 loss to Seattle. The rookie quarterback also logged four carries for 27 yards and a rushing touchdown.

The No. 1 overall pick was an all-time prolific collegiate rusher from the quarterback position as an Oklahoma Sooner, but through the first two weeks of his NFL career, he had only carried the ball six times for a total of 17 yards. Someone must have reminded Murray that he can scoot, as he's amassed 96 rushing yards on 12 attempts over the past two games, while logging his first career rushing touchdown against the division-rival Seahawks in Week 4. He carries immense potential heading into a matchup against a Bengals defense that surrendered 289 scrimmage yards and a touchdown to similarly athletic Josh Allen (concussion) in Week 3.

Goff completed 45 of 68 passes for 517 yards and two touchdowns with three interceptions in Sunday's 55-40 loss to the Buccaneers.

The Rams fell behind 21-0 early in the second quarter, forcing Goff to sling it the rest of the way and eventually leading to the 23rd 500-yard passing game in NFL history. Despite the huge volume and yardage, however, this loss largely rests on the QB's shoulders -- he threw two early picks that led to two of Tampa's first three TDs, and he ended the Rams' last comeback attempt by fumbling, leading to a Ndamukong Suh return for the game's final score. Goff has tossed five INTs in his last two games, and he won't get much time to shake them out of his system with the Rams playing in Seattle on Thursday.

Wilson completed 22 of 28 passes for 240 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-10 win over the Cardinals. He also ran twice for seven yards.

Wilson is approaching a Drew Brees level of efficiency a quarter of the way through the season, as he's completed 72.9 percent of his passes for eight touchdowns, zero interceptions and 8.6 YPA through four games. He clearly doesn't need a ton of attempts to be a viable fantasy quarterback, which came in handy as the Seahawks shifted to a run-heavy scheme in this contest by affording Chris Carson and C.J. Prosise 25 combined carries, although that was more game script than a pass-averse game plan. Wilson and the Seahawks have a short week before a tough Thursday night matchup against the Rams. Last year, Wilson threw three touchdowns in each game versus the Rams.

Winston completed 28 of 41 passes for 385 passes with four touchdowns and one interception in the Buccaneers' 55-40 win over the Rams on Sunday. He also lost a yard on his sole rush.

Taking on the unbeaten defending NFC champions on the road, Winston showed thorough mastery of coach Bruce Arians' offense for the first time, helping the Buccaneers produce a franchise-record point tally. The fifth-year gunslinger was nearly flawless for the majority of the contest, but the pick-six he threw to Marcus Peters in the fourth quarter helped keep the game's outcome in the balance for a while longer. That mistake aside, Winston constantly was a step ahead of coordinator Wade Phillips' defense, showing particular chemistry with Chris Godwin, who overcame a hip injury to connect with Winston for 12 completions, 172 yards and two touchdowns. Winston also showed a propensity for answering when the Rams drew closer, hitting Mike Evans on a perfectly executed stop-and-go route for a 67-yard score early in the fourth quarter to extend Tampa's lead to 45-27 at the time. Winston now has thrown for a combined 685 yards and seven touchdown passes over his last two games and will look to extend his stellar stretch of play in a divisional road showdown versus the Saints in Week 5.

Coach Matt Nagy said after Sunday's win over the Vikings that he doesn't believe Trubisky's shoulder injury is season-ending, Adam Hoge of WGN Radio reports.

Trubisky exited in the first quarter with the shoulder injury. Backup Chase Daniel came in and threw for 195 yards and a touchdown, while Chicago's defense dominated en route to a 16-6 win. While no timetable has been established for Trubisky's injury, reading between the lines of Nagy's comments suggests the starting quarterback could be staring at a multi-week absence.

Cousins completed 27 of 36 passes for 233 yards in Sunday's 16-6 loss to the Bears.

The completions, attempts and even yards were all season highs for the QB, but while he didn't throw a touchdown or interception, Cousins did fumble twice (losing one of them) in the face of relentless pressure from Chicago and got sacked six times on the afternoon. He'll take on a much less daunting defense next week in a road game against the Giants, but that won't necessarily translate to better numbers. So far this year, Cousins' usage has depended entirely on whether Dalvin Cook is dominating the opposition or not.
