  • Caleb Sturgis' injury not a concern for Week 10

    Dolphins kicker Caleb Sturgis was able to practice in full Saturday, and has been listed as probable for Week 10 against the Buccaneers. Sturgis should have little trouble kicking in Monday's game.

    Blair Walsh in double figures Thursday

    Vikings kicker Blair Walsh had a solid performance Thursday during the Week 10 win over Washington. Walsh was 2 for 2 and finished with 10 points recorded. 

    Walsh added four extra points in the game in four attempts as the Vikings beat the Redskins. The Vikings play at Seattle Week 11. 

  • Caleb Sturgis hindered by groin injury

    Dolphins placekicker Caleb Sturgis landed on the injury report Thursday with a groin injury. He practiced only on a limited basis. There has been no indication, however, that he won't play Monday night at Tampa Bay.

    Sturgis has nailed 20 of 25 field goal attempts this season, but has cooled off considerably after a hot start. He has missed four of his last seven.

  • Justin Tucker perfect in imperfect game for Ravens

    Ravens placekicker Justin Tucker tried just one field goal Sunday in Cleveland, but it was a bomb. He booted a 51-yarder in the first quarter to put his team on the board. He was also true on his lone extra point.

  • Matt Bryant K | ATL

    Poor production for Matt Bryant

    On a day the Falcons scored only 10 points, kicker Matt Bryant equaled his season-low scoring output with four points. The one extra point was a season low. He also kicked a 28-yard field goal in the second quarter.

    Bryant (and the Falcons as a whole) will look to get back on track Week 10 against the Seahawks.

    Graham Gano shows off his leg

    With two field goals and four extra points, Panthers kicker Graham Gano scored double-digit points for just the third time this season Week 9 against the Falcons. And he did it in memorable fashion, kicking a 55-yard field goal -- his longest of the season -- in the third quarter. He also had a 20-yarder in the contest.

    The Panthers visit the 49ers in Week 10.

  • Greg Zuerlein misses lone try in loss

    Rams kicker Greg Zuerlein got only one chance to kick a field goal in Week 9 against the Titans, and he missed it in a 28-21 loss. Zuerlein missed from 44 yards, while nailing three extra-points.

    Zuerlein is 14 for 16 on field-goal attempts this season, but both of his misses have come over the last two weeks. 

  • Nick Folk K | ATL

    Nick Folk finishes with season-high 14 points in Week 9 win

    Jets kicker Nick Folk converted a season-high four field goals during a 26-20 win Week 9 vs. New Orleans. Folk also made two extra points and finished with a season-high 14 points.

    Folk made a 39-yard field goal to open the scoring in the first half. He added a 21-yard field goal in the second quarter. He came back with a 47-yard field goal in the third quarter and a 45-yard field goal in the fourth quarter.

    Folk has made less than two field goals just once in nine games. He has also yet to miss a field goal in 23 attempts this season.

    The Jets are on a bye Week 10 before returning to action Week 11 at Buffalo.

  • Garrett Hartley finishes with eight points Week 9

    Saints kicker Garrett Hartley finished with eight points during a 26-20 loss Week 9 at N.Y. Jets. Hartley made two field goals and two extra points in the loss.

    Hartley missed his first kick of the game -- a 43-yard field goal on the first drive -- before making field goals of 43 and 55 yards. Both of his field-goal conversions came in the second half.

    Hartley has managed at least eight points in all but two of eight games this season. The Saints are back in action Week 10 vs. Dallas.

  • Blair Walsh K | ATL

    Blair Walsh misses costly extra point

    Vikings kicker Blair Walsh connected on a 23-yard field goal but missed an important extra point during the Week 9 loss at Dallas Sunday. 

    Walsh was 2 for 3 on PATs and 1 for 1 on field goals to finish with five points. Walsh has scored in double figures just once in his last six games. The Vikings play Washington on Thursday during the Week 10 schedule.
