Chris Boswell K | PIT
Steelers' Chris Boswell: Keeping kicking job
Boswell will remain the Steelers' kicker for the team's Week 15 matchup with the Patriots, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
After Boswell missed his fifth and sixth field goal attempts of the season in the Week 14 loss to the Raiders -- the last of which prevented Pittsburgh from sending the game to overtime -- coach Mike Tomlin gave no assurances that the kicker would retain his job. The Steelers held an open tryout Wednesday featuring multiple kickers, but Boswell apparently restored some faith by knocking nine of 10 attempts in the workouts from various ranges, per Fowler. While he'll stick on the roster for now, any missed kicks in Week 15 or the games to follow could be enough to cost Boswell his spot.

Graham Gano K | NYG
Panthers' Graham Gano: No recorded activity at practice
Gano (knee) was listed as a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports.
Though he didn't participate in any team work, Gano was in attendance for the Panthers' first practice of the week and was spotted working out on the side with a trainer, per David Newton of ESPN.com. Gano will presumably try to do some kicking Friday and/or Saturday before the Panthers decide on his fate for their Monday night matchup with the Saints. Chandler Catanzaro remains on the roster after filling in for Gano in the Week 14 loss to the Browns and would handle kicking duties again if Gano can't go.

Brett Maher K | LAR
Cowboys' Brett Maher: Hits 62-yarder in win
Maher made three of four field-goal attempts and both his extra-point tries in Sunday's 29-23 win over the Eagles.
Maher started by making from 28 yards, but then missed from 45 yards on his second attempt. Shortly thereafter, however, he nailed a 62-yarder as the first half expired, setting a Cowboys record in the process. The rookie's final make came from 21 yards, and with a couple extra points to boot, he put together his fifth double-digit scoring performance. That haul brought his season total to 106 points, which ranks eighth among kickers.

Brandon McManus K | GB
Broncos' Brandon McManus: Opportunities limited
McManus did not attempt a field goal but made both his extra-point tries in Sunday's 20-14 loss to the 49ers.
McManus' mere two points tied his season low. Considering he only boasts 80 points through 13 games, however, fantasy owners should've recalibrated their expectations of McManus -- who averaged about 114 points over the previous three seasons -- by now.

Chris Boswell K | PIT
Steelers' Chris Boswell: Job put on notice
Coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that Boswell will be forced to compete for his role as the Steelers' kicker over the next few days as the team holds an open tryout, Chris Adamski of TribLive.com reports. "He will be given an opportunity to play his way into this game [against the Patriots] this weekend," Tomlin said.
Since being rewarded with a four-year extension during the preseason after converting 89.5 percent of his field-goal tries through his first three years in Pittsburgh, Boswell has completely fallen apart. The 27-year-old has missed five extra points this season -- two more than his total from 2015 through 2017 -- and has converted only 10 of 16 field-goal attempts, including a pair of misses in the loss to the Raiders over the weekend that prevented the Steelers from extending the game to overtime. Boswell's sizable contract is probably the only reason he's maintained his job through 14 games, but the Steelers may have finally reached their breaking point.

Mike Badgley K | BUF
Chargers' Michael Badgley: Perfect Sunday
Badgley made both of his extra-point attempts and all four of his field-goal attempts in the 26-21 victory over the Bengals.
It's not an exaggeration to say that Badgley's performance won the Chargers the game, as the rookie kicker was brilliant, connecting on an important 59-yard attempt to end the first half. Badgley has missed an extra point and field goal this season, but that's still light years better than recent production from previous Chargers kickers.
-
Jake Elliott K | PHI
Eagles' Jake Elliott: Missed kick is difference in loss
Elliott made his lone field-goal attempt in Sunday's 29-23 overtime loss to the Cowboys but connected on just two of three extra points.
Elliott's first scoring attempt of the game came after Alshon Jeffery's third-quarter touchdown, but the Memphis product pushed it right. He would tie the game at nine early in the fourth, but perhaps the contest would not have gone to overtime if not for the missed kick earlier. Elliott has had to battle both his offense's inconsistency as well as his own this season. He'll look to put it past him on the road Week 15 against the Rams.
-
Jason Sanders K | MIA
Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Perfect in win
Sanders did not attempt a field goal and converted all four of his extra-point tries during Sunday's 34-33 win over the Patriots.
Sanders has now gone two straight games without attempting a field goal. Despite the Dolphins scoring a season-high 34 points, Sanders did not see a large enough workload to achieve fantasy relevance. The rookie does not warrant fantasy consideration outside of deeper leagues, irrespective of his solid accuracy.
-
Zane Gonzalez K | MIA
Cardinals' Zane Gonzalez: Make and miss Sunday
Gonzalez made one of two field-goal attempts in Sunday's loss to the Lions.
Gonzalez converted a 22-yard attempt in the fourth quarter after hitting the left upright on a 54-yard try earlier in the contest. It is Gonzalez's first miss as a Cardinal, and he is now 5-for-9 on field-goal attempts this season in stints with the Browns and Cardinals.

Dustin Hopkins K | CLE
Redskins' Dustin Hopkins: Ghost-like outing in blowout
Hopkins finished Sunday's game against the Giants without any kicking attempts.
It was a rough day for Hopkins' owners, as he went without a stat line for the first time all season. The 27-year-old is in the midst of a career season highlighted by a career-best field-goal conversion rate (87 percent). Without Alex Smith, Washington's offense has endured a noticeable drop-off, which apparently has trickled down to Hopkins.
