Greg Joseph K | LV
Vikings' Greg Joseph: Dip in efficiency during 2022
Joseph converted 26 of his 33 field-goal attempts and went 40-for-46 on point-after tries over 17 games in the 2022 regular season.
Joseph got off to a rough start during his second season with Minnesota, going 9-for-14 on field-goal tries over the first seven games. He did finish strong by not missing a single field-goal attempt in all but one of the final 11 games, including the wild-card loss to the Giants. However, Joseph particularly struggled from long range this season, as he knocked through four of his 10 field-goal attempts of 50 yards or more. He thus finished with both the most missed field goals and extra points of his career, so it's unclear if he'll be re-signed before becoming an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

James McCourt K | LV
Jaguars' James McCourt: Inks future deal
The Jaguars signed McCourt to a reserve/future contract Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
McCourt signed with the Jaguars' practice squad after failing to make the team's initial 53-man roster to begin the season. The undrafted kicker out of Illinois never made any appearances during his rookie campaign, but with his new contract, he'll be able to stick around the organization and compete for a larger role during the offseason.

Brett Maher K | LAR
Cowboys' Brett Maher: Retaining role Sunday
The Cowboys didn't elevate Tristan Vizcaino from the practice squad Saturday, meaning Maher will serve as the team's placekicker during Sunday's divisional-round game at San Francisco.
In the wake of Maher missing his first four extra-point attempts this past Monday at Tampa Bay, Dallas seemingly had a problem at kicker as it advanced in the postseason. While coach Mike McCarthy and special teams coordinator John Fassel expressed trust in Maher on Tuesday, owner Jerry Jones was less forthright, saying the team would "take a look" at the situation, per Jon Machota of The Athletic. The Cowboys ended up signing Vizcaino to the practice squad one day later, but ultimately Maher will continue to handle all kicking duties this weekend.

Jason Myers K | SEA
Seahawks' Jason Myers: Staying in Pacific Northwest
The Seahawks came to terms with Myers on a new contract Wednesday.
The precise terms of the deal aren't known, but Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reported that Myers will be locked in for four more years with the Seahawks. After pacing the NFL with 143 points in 17 games this past season, Myers clearly was a priority for the Seahawks as a pending unrestricted free agent. He'll remain attached to an offense with plenty of firepower in the form of running back Kenneth Walker and wide receivers DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett in 2023 and beyond.

Gabe Brkic K | GB
Gabe Brkic: Works out for Pittsburgh
Brkic (hamstring) worked out for Pittsburgh on Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Brkic was waived from injured reserve by the Packers with an injury settlement at the end of September, but he appears to have cleared the hamstring issue and is looking for the next step in his career. The undrafted kicker out of Oklahoma spent time with the Vikings and Packers during his first professional season, but he's still looking to make his NFL debut.

Brett Maher K | LAR
Cowboys' Brett Maher: Another kicker in Dallas
Maher, who is expected to be the Cowboys' placekicker for Sunday's divisional-round game in San Francisco, will be joined at the position after the team signed Tristan Vizcaino to the practice squad Wednesday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Despite making 50 of 53 point-after tries during the regular season, Maher raised some question marks regarding his job security during Monday's 31-14 wild-card win at Tampa Bay after missing his first four extra points. He proceeded to make his final PAT following Dallas' last touchdown, and head coach Mike McCarthy and special teams coordinator John Fassel both noted Tuesday that Maher should retain his duties in the second round of the playoffs, according to Jon Machota of The Athletic. Team owner Jerry Jones was less committal, though, saying the team would "take a look" at the situation, and now another placekicker is in the building. As a result, Maher's status will be one to monitor as the weekend approaches to get a sense of his odds to keep kicking for the Cowboys on Sunday.

Brett Maher K | LAR
Cowboys' Brett Maher: Retains job after four missed PATs
Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy and special teams coordinator John Fassel both noted after Monday's 31-14 win over the Buccaneers in the wild-card round that Maher will retain placekicking duties for Sunday's divisional-round game at San Francisco, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports. "We're going to forge ahead (with Maher)," McCarthy said Tuesday. "As of right now, that's the plan."
Meanwhile, Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones was less willing to provide an endorsement of Maher, saying he would "take a look" at their kicking situation after the 33-year-old missed point-after attempts on the Cowboys' first four touchdowns of Monday's game before converting his final extra-point try in the fourth quarter. As of Wednesday, the Cowboys have yet to bring in any other kickers for tryouts, so Maher looks like he'll get the chance to put Monday's nightmarish outing behind him. Though Fassel believes Maher was dealing with the "yips" Monday, the Cowboys apparently have optimism that the kicker will be able to bounce back with a strong week of practice. Maher earned himself the longer leash after turning in an outstanding regular season in which he missed just six kicks (three field goals, three extra points) and went 9-for-11 on attempts of 50-plus yards.

Riley Patterson K | MIA
Jaguars' Riley Patterson: Makes game-winning kick
Patterson made a 36-yard field goal as time expired to give the Jaguars a 31-30 win over the Chargers in the wild-card round. He also made both of his extra-point tries.
Patterson did all that was required of him, helping Jacksonville seal an improbable comeback victory. He'll now turn his focus to Saturday's game versus the Chiefs in the AFC divisional round.

Cameron Dicker K | LAC
Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Costly miss in loss
Dicker missed one of his four field-goal attempts but made all three of his extra-point tries in Saturday's 31-30 loss to the Jaguars in the wild-card round.
Dicker missed merely one of 46 total attempts during the regular season, making it a big surprise when he missed from 40 yards during the fourth quarter. Although he still made kicks from 22, 23 and 50 yards while scoring double-digit points, Dicker's misfire Saturday proved costly in Los Angeles' narrow defeat. Given his wide success during his rookie campaign, however, Dicker should garner significant interest as a free agent this offseason.

Jason Myers K | SEA
Seahawks' Jason Myers: Scores five points
Myers made his only field-goal attempt and both of his extra-point tries in Saturday's 41-23 loss to the 49ers in the wild-card round.
Myers converted from 56 yards on his lone field goal. Despite his season now being over, Myers can take pride in leading the league in scoring while being selected to his second Pro Bowl this season. He'll now enter unrestricted free agency as a hot commodity.
