Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: Full practice Wednesday

CeeDee Lamb (thigh) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Patrik Walker of the Dallas Cowboys' official site reports.Lamb suffered what at the time was reported to be a quadriceps injury in the fourth quarter of last Thursday's loss to the Buccaneers. On Friday morning, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that Lamb was tending to a bruised quad that wasn't deemed to be serious. Indeed, with an uncapped practice under his belt to begin Week 6 prep, what is now a listed thigh issue won't impact Lamb's availability for Sunday night's game at Green Bay.

Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: Injury seemingly not serious

CeeDee Lamb is believed to be dealing with a "quad bruise" that is "not considered to be serious," Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.Lamb was deemed questionable to return to Thursday's loss to the Buccaneers after -- per the Dallas Cowboys' official website -- taking a "hit on the same quad that got hit last week," and although he briefly got back out there he was not on the field for his team's final drive. Lamb does not appear to be facing an extended absence and will have extra time to rest and recover before the Cowboys face the Packers in Week 6, but it could be a few days until the next update on his status arrives.

Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: Nursing quad injury

CeeDee Lamb (quadriceps) is questionable to return to Thursday night's game against Tampa Bay, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.Lamb was standing on the sideline with his helmet on in the fourth quarter, suggesting the injury isn't serious, but he watched as the offense marched down the field and put it in the end zone. Ryan Flournoy, Jonathan Mingo and KaVontae Turpin will soak up additional snaps at wideout, while George Pickens handles clear WR1 duties with Lamb sidelined. Prior to his injury, Lamb caught two of five targets for nine yards.

Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: Historic day in comeback win

CeeDee Lamb caught 17 of 21 targets for 189 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-30 win over the Texans.Per RJ Ochoa of Blogging The Boys, it was just the fourth time in NFL history, and the first since Brandon Marshall in 2009, that a player recorded 17-plus receptions, 180-plus yards and a TD in a single game. Lamb's final catch was his biggest, as he connected with Dak Prescott for a 12-yard score with just 40 seconds left on the clock to complete a comeback from a 10-point halftime deficit. The 17 catches and 21 targets were career highs for the five-time Pro Bowler, and the yardage total was his best since Week 17 of 2023, when Lamb erupted for 227 yards against the Lions. Lamb will take a massive 37-498-4 line on 46 targets through four games, and a three-game streak of 100-plus receiving yards, into a Week 5 home tilt against the Buccaneers.

Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: Another 100-yard effort

CeeDee Lamb caught seven of eight targets for 112 yards in Sunday's 34-31 loss to the Ravens. He also caught a two-point conversion.George Pickens led the Dallas Cowboys in targets with 11, but it was Lamb who paced the team in receiving yards while the two star wideouts each tied for the team lead in receptions. This was the first game in 2026 during which Lamb failed to score a TD, but he has produced back-to-back performances of over 100 yards. He'll take a 20-309-3 line on 25 targets into a Week 4 road trip to Houston.

Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: Standout effort in Week 2 win

CeeDee Lamb brought in eight of nine targets for 153 yards and two touchdowns in the Dallas Cowboys' 37-20 win over the Commanders on Sunday.Lamb led the Cowboys in receptions and receiving yards by a wide margin, and he also set the pace in targets with one more than George Pickens. Lamb repeatedly victimized the Commanders' secondary throughout the afternoon, and his touchdowns came from three and 24 yards out in the first and fourth quarters, respectively. The 2020 first-round pick has cobbled together a 13-197-3 line over his first two games, and he'll continue to play a pivotal role in a Week 3 home matchup against the Ravens next Sunday.

Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: Scores in Week 1 loss on SNF

CeeDee Lamb caught five of eight targets for 44 yards and a touchdown while adding one carry for no gain in Sunday's 28-20 loss to the Giants.Lamb led the team in targets and receiving yards, as Dak Prescott threw for only 175 yards in a subpar Week 1 showing from Dallas' talented passing game. It was encouraging to see Lamb find the end zone in the season opener after he scored a career-low three touchdowns across 14 appearances during the 2025 regular season. Lamb had at least six total TDs in each of the preceding five campaigns, and he got on the board with a one-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter against the Giants. The Dallas Cowboys will aim to bounce back in their Week 2 home opener against the Commanders.

Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: Bullish for Year 2 of WR tandem with Pickens

CeeDee Lamb said Monday that he believes that he and fellow wideout George Pickens can both improve upon their lofty production from 2025 heading into their second season as teammates, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports. "We can be real, real vicious together. I know that. He knows that," Lamb said. "And every day we strive to do it. We've had a lot of success together. But I know there's much more out there for us."The presence of Pickens will make it difficult for Lamb to reclaim the elevated target shares he enjoyed earlier in his career, but better overall health might be enough for the latter receiver to bounce back to some degree in 2026. Despite missing nearly full four games because of a sprained ankle along with sitting out the second half of another game due to a concussion, Lamb still hauled in 75 passes and finished with his fifth straight 1,000-plus-yard receiving season in 2025. Pickens, meanwhile, feasted when Lamb was limited to just seven total snaps from Weeks 3 through 6 (24-427-5 receiving line on 35 targets), and remained plenty useful for fantasy purposes in the Dallas Cowboys' other 13 games (69-1,002-4 line on 102 targets). Heading into the upcoming season, neither Lamb nor Pickens will face any major threats to their perch atop the pass-catching hierarchy, but after scoring a career-low three touchdowns in 2025, Lamb may need to poach more high-value targets from tight end Jake Ferguson in order to justify his first-round sticker price in fantasy drafts. Ferguson emerged as a trusted option for quarterback Dak Prescott in the red zone, finishing with a team-high 24 targets in that area and hitting paydirt eight times.

Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: Connecting with Prescott at camp

CeeDee Lamb recently told reporters that he and QB Dak Prescott are "hitting on all cylinders" at training camp, Tommy Yarish of DallasCowboys.com reports.Lamb said his goals for 2026 are to win, stay healthy and dominate. "Whatever the numbers look like, that's cool," he said. Lamb's fantasy production was disappointing last year, but only due to a lack of touchdowns (three) and a prolonged stretch of missed time (three full games, plus nearly all of another). He finished with career highs for yards per catch (14.4) and aDOT (11.8) while posting his second-best mark for yards per route run (2.27). Lamb was efficient pretty much everywhere besides the red zone, where his 17 targets (t-8th among WRs) yielded eight catches for 57 yards and two TDs. He's been healthy throughout the offseason and training camp, with no reports of any missed time or limitations.

Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: Playing usual role in training camp

CeeDee Lamb worked with the Dallas Cowboys' first-team offense in the first team drill of Wednesday's practice, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports. This comes as no surprise considering Lamb is part of a one-two punch at wide receiver for Dallas along with George Pickens. After Lamb agreed to restructure his contract ahead of the opening of free agency in March, Pickens signed the franchise tag in April, ensuring the duo will be together for a second campaign in 2026. Lamb took a step back last year, missing three games overall due to injury and finishing with a 75-1,077-3 line on 117 targets in 14 regular-season contests, while Pickens blossomed for 93-1,429-9 on 137 targets in 17 outings. Both Lamb and Pickens can expect regular attention from QB Dak Prescott in the upcoming season.
