Bills' Josh Allen: Healthy for OTAs
Coach Joe Brady said Tuesday that Josh Allen is "good to go" after the quarterback underwent foot surgery in the offseason, Sal Capaccio of WGR Sports Radio 550 Buffalo reports.Allen reported soreness after Week 16 last season that eventually proved to be a fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his right foot. The procedure was performed after the Buffalo Bills' divisional-round loss in Denver, and he's on track for an expected recovery time of 8-to-10 weeks. Allen is coming off another fantastic season in which he completed a career-best 69.3 percent of his passes for 3,668 yards, 25 touchdowns and 10 interceptions while rushing 112 times for 579 yards and 14 more TDs in 17 regular-season games. Now that his health isn't a concern, he can begin building chemistry with the Bills' most notable offseason addition, wideout DJ Moore.

Bills' Josh Allen: Restructures contract
Josh Allen (foot) is restructuring his contract with the Buffalo Bills, creating $12 million of 2026 cap space for the team, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. This helps to make room for new addition DJ Moore, who finished the 2025 regular season with a career-low 682 receiving yards. Moore turns 29 in April and should have more to offer in 2026, joining a Buffalo offense where RB James Cook, WR Khalil Shakir and TE Dalton Kincaid are the main weapons. Allen, meanwhile, is recovering from late-January surgery to address a broken bone in his right foot. He should be fine for training camp, if not spring practices, with initial reports estimating a recovery timeline of 8-to-10 weeks.

Bills' Josh Allen: Facing 8-to-10-week recovery
Josh Allen is facing a recovery timetable between eight and 10 weeks after undergoing surgery to address a broken bone in his right foot, which puts him on track for the start of OTAs, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.Allen was spotted with crutches and wearing a walking boot on his right foot Thursday. Per Katherine Fitzgerald of The Buffalo News, Allen stated that he underwent surgery to address an avulsion of the fifth metatarsal in his foot that he played through down the stretch of the 2025 campaign, and Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports that the injury is older in origin but was aggravated versus Cleveland in Week 16. In the wake of Buffalo's win over Jacksonville in the wild-card round, Allen also dealt with left knee and right finger injuries this season, but it doesn't appear those will hamper him this offseason. It's encouraging that Allen is expected to be healthy well in advance of OTAs in May, as following the dismissal of Sean McDermott and hiring of Joe Brady, the 29-year-old quarterback will have to adjust to a new head coach for the first time in his NFL career.

Bills' Josh Allen: Wearing walking boot
Josh Allen (foot) is sporting crutches and a walking boot at new head coach Joe Brady's introductory press conference Thursday, Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News reports.GM Brandon Beane said Wednesday that Allen may require an offseason procedure on his right foot, but the star quarterback's availability for the offseason program won't be impacted if he does go under the knife. Allen's use of a walking boot and crutches one day later could be quiet confirmation that such a procedure has already been scheduled or accomplished. The 29-year-old initially injured his foot in Week 16, resulting in lingering soreness that he dealt with until the end of the 2025 campaign. Prior to Buffalo's loss to Denver in the divisional round, Allen also dealt with injuries to his left knee and right finger. In any case, all expectations are that Allen will be ready to take the field with his teammates by the start of OTAs in May, providing plenty of time to adjust to the first change at head coach he's seen in his eight-year NFL career.

Bills' Josh Allen: May need offseason foot procedure
Buffalo Bills GM Brandon Beane noted Wednesday that Josh Allen may need a procedure done on his right foot, but if that is the case, the QB's availability for OTAs would not be impacted, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.Per ESPN.com, Allen initially hurt his foot during Week 16 action, which resulted in soreness that lingered in subsequent weeks. Additionally, Allen managed issues with his left knee and right finger following the Bills' wild-card win over the Jaguars. In terms of a possible foot procedure for Allen, Beane did not provide a timeline Wednesday for when that might occur. Either way, Allen has time to recover from his injuries before his team returns to the field, at which time he'll be working with a new head coach following the dismissal of Sean McDermott in the wake of Buffalo's divisional-round loss to the Broncos.

Bills' Josh Allen: Done in by turnovers in loss
Josh Allen completed 25 of 39 passes for 283 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions while rushing 12 times for 66 yards in the Buffalo Bills' 33-30 overtime divisional-round loss to the Broncos on Saturday. He also committed three fumbles, losing two and recovering the other. While Allen put together a fantasy-friendly stat line from a yardage and touchdown perspective, his four turnovers naturally had a significant hand in the narrow and heartbreaking defeat. Allen connected with Mecole Hardman (four yards), Keon Coleman (10 yards) and Dalton Kincaid (14 yards) for his trio of scoring tosses, the latter two coming during an impressive second-half surge by Buffalo that saw the Bills erase a 23-10 deficit and take a 27-23 lead with just over four minutes remaining. Following a late Broncos touchdown, Allen then led an eight-play march that culminated in a game-tying field goal that pushed the game into overtime. However, Allen's second interception, which came when Ja'Quan McMillian took the ball from Brandin Cooks as both went to the ground after the latter appeared to have hauled in a beautifully thrown deep post, begat Denver's game-winning drive, while his two earlier lost fumbles each led to Broncos field goals as well. Following another January heartbreak for his team, Allen will focus on regrouping for another run in 2026 after having completed 69.3 percent of his passes for 3,668 yards with a 25:10 TD:INT, rushing 112 times for 579 yards and 14 touchdowns and committing seven fumbles, losing three, across 17 regular-season games in 2025.

Bills' Josh Allen: Cleared to play Saturday
Josh Allen (foot/knee/right finger) doesn't carry an injury designation for Saturday's divisional-round game against the Broncos.Following the Buffalo Bills' wild-card win over the Jaguars, the QB has been managing a trio of injuries, but after being listed as a limited participant in Tuesday's walkthrough, Allen logged back-to-back full sessions, paving the way for him to start Saturday's contest. In the process, he'll be working with a banged-up wideout corps that will be minus Joshua Palmer (ankle), Tyrell Shavers (knee) and Gabe Davis (knee), who all are on IR. In that context, WRs Khalil Shakir and Brandin Cooks and TEs Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox figure to be Allen's top targets, with WRs Keon Coleman and Curtis Samuel (elbow, questionable) also candidates to contribute this weekend.

Bills' Josh Allen: Works fully Wednesday
Josh Allen (foot/knee/right finger) practiced fully Wednesday.Allen emerged from the Buffalo Bills' wild-card win over the Jaguars managing a trio of injuries and was deemed a limited participant in Tuesday's walk-through. The QB's return to a full session a day later, however, solidifies the notion that he'll be available for Saturday's divisional-round game at Denver and has him trending toward not being assigned an injury designation for the contest when Buffalo's final injury report is posted Thursday.

Bills' Josh Allen: Limited by trio of injuries

Bills' Josh Allen: Carries Buffalo to divisional round
Josh Allen completed 28 of 35 passes for 273 yards and a touchdown while adding 33 rushing yards and two TDs on 11 carries in the Buffalo Bills' 27-24 win over the Jaguars during the wild-card round on Sunday. The superstar quarterback put Buffalo on his back once again, producing two of his three scores in the fourth quarter as the two teams traded the lead back and forth, including a one-yard plunge into the end zone with 1:04 left on the clock for the game-winning touchdown. Allen took a beating from the Jacksonville defense during the contest however, getting checked out in the blue medical tent twice, and he was seen limping in the locker room after the game per Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic. The Bills won't know who they're playing until after the weekend's games are over, but Allen will almost certainly play through whatever injuries he might have on the road in the divisional round. He's produced multiple TDs in five of his last six full games dating back to Week 13, racking up 14 scores (eight passing, six rushing) in total during that time with only two turnovers.
