Shaheed (hamstring) was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.
Shaheed missed New Orleans' preseason opener last week due to a hamstring injury sustained Aug. 3, but he now looks to be back to full health. He could be an option to play in Sunday's exhibition contest against the 49ers, assuming the Saints' regular starters take the field. Shaheed is primed for a key role on offense this season, both as New Orleans' primary punt and kick returner and as the No. 2 receiver behind Chris Olave.
