Saints' George Johnson: Picked up by New Orleans

The Saints and Johnson agreed to a contract Tuesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Johnson was let go by the Lions on Nov. 24 after suiting up in four games with the club. The veteran is expected to provide depth along the Saints' defensive line.
