Washington logged three rushes for seven yards and reeled in his only target for seven yards during Monday's 27-13 defeat against Baltimore.
The 28-year-old served as the Saints' de facto No. 2 running back with Mark Ingram out due to a sprained MCL. However, 23 of Washington's 28 snaps still came on special teams. With New Orleans' offense stymied for much of the game, starting running back Alvin Kamara handled nine of the team's 15 rushing attempts against Baltimore, while Taysom Hill and Andy Dalton split the other three. Washington should continue to play a minor role even if the Saints find more success on the ground versus Pittsburgh on Sunday.
