Owens will sign with the Saints, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.
Owens was most recently with Detroit, where he was eventually placed on IR only to be released in late-October. The defense back most recently saw playing time with the Chiefs in 2014, when he accumulated 33 combined tackles over 11 games.
