The Raiders will go with a "hot hand" approach at the running back position Sunday with Maurice Jones-Drew sidelined by a broken hand, Comcast SportsNet Bay Area reports.
"It depends on how the game plays out," head coach Dennis Allen said. "If we have somebody with a hot hand, we are going to go with him. But all of our backs will play."
Darren McFadden is expected to get the start, but Latavius Murray should also have the opportunity to record a fair number of touches if he impresses early. Oakland is going against a Houston team that was gashed for 131 yards on 23 carries (5.7 yards per carry) in Week 1.
