Jeff Howe of The Athletic previously noted that Stevenson dislocated his thumb during practice last week, but the 2021 fourth-round pick looks like he'll be available for Sunday's season opener against the Dolphins. Though the Patriots in the past have tended to ease rookie backs into the equation, Stevenson -- who possesses a nice blend of power and nimble feet -- has a chance to mix in on early downs and perhaps short-yardage situations behind top option Damien Harris.
