Reed was traded from the Texans to the Patriots on Monday in exchange for wide receiver Kayshon Boutte, Tom Pelissero of Netflix reports.
New England also landed a draft pick in the deal with Houston, per Pelissero. Reed was a sixth-round selection of the Texans in 2025, but he only played in seven regular-season games as a rookie due to two stints on IR. He should have a chance to compete for a depth and special-teams role in New England.
