The Patriots got one of the key pieces of their defense back on the practice field Monday, as Gonzalez was a full participant after recovering from an ankle issue. The star cornerback, who remains in negotiations with the team on a contract extension, missed several practices and both of the first two preseason games due to the injury, but he now appears to have moved past the issue.
