We don't play in many non-PPR leagues anymore, but we know many of you still participate in this format, which is great. It's old-school Fantasy Football where running backs are still kings.

With that in mind, here's our latest 12-team, non-PPR mock draft featuring members of our CBS Sports staff. We held this mock draft after the second week of preseason action. And, yes, running backs dominated the early rounds as expected.

Six of the first seven picks were running backs with Bijan Robinson, Jahmyr Gibbs, Saquon Barkley, Ashton Jeanty, Derrick Henry, and Christian McCaffrey. De'Von Achane was also selected in Round 1 at No. 9 overall, and this draft was done prior to the news about his calf injury. Hopefully, Achane will be fine and justify this selection.

Three managers started their team RB-RB with Adam Aizer (Robinson and Omarion Hampton), Heath Cummings (Jeanty and Kyren Williams), and me (McCaffrey and Bucky Irving). I didn't stop there and drafted RJ Harvey in Round 3, and then I selected Joe Burrow in Round 4.

It wasn't exactly Zero-WR since I drafted George Pickens in Round 5, but you don't have to reach for receivers in this format. I was still able to get Travis Hunter in Round 6, Matthew Golden in Round 7, Darnell Mooney in Round 10, and Marquise Brown in Round 13. It's a flawed group, but I can make it work in non-PPR, especially if these guys have success finding the end zone.

The key is that my running back corps is amazing, which is ideal in this format, and I added Jordan Mason in Round 8, Jaydon Blue in Round 11, Isaac Guerendo in Round 12, and Will Shipley in Round 14. There is plenty of depth behind McCaffrey, Irving, and Harvey, and I love the sleepers in Mason and Blue.

Tucker Kraft is my tight end, and I feel confident about this roster in non-PPR. Now, let's compare my roster to what Dave Richard did from the No. 2 spot. He only drafted two running backs with his first nine selections, which were Gibbs in Round 1 and Alvin Kamara in Round 5.

His receivers are solid with Tee Higgins, Marvin Harrison Jr., Ricky Pearsall, Chris Olave, Cedric Tillman, and Jayden Higgins. And he has Patrick Mahomes at quarterback and the combination of Brock Bowers and Dalton Kincaid at tight end.

But aside from Gibbs and Kamara, the rest of his running backs are Travis Etienne, Austin Ekeler, and Kyle Monangai. In PPR, I love this team. In non-PPR, I prefer my roster build based on the running backs.

As a reference point for this mock draft, all touchdowns are worth six points, and we award one point for every 10 yards rushing and receiving and one point for every 25 yards passing. We feature a starting lineup of QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, and FLEX (RB/WR/TE) with six reserves for a 14-round draft.
