Zenner entered the concussion protocol following Sunday's win against the Bears, but he's progressed to the point that he donned a red non-contact jersey in his first opportunity to practice. Due to the untenable situation surrounding Theo Riddick (wrist), who didn't participate Wednesday, Zenner could play second fiddle to Dwayne Washington again this weekend in the event he gets clearance from an independent neurologist. A wait-and-see approach is advised with the Lions' backfield situation.
