Williams (chest) was a limited practice participant Friday.
Both Williams and No. 1 running back D'Andre Swift (groin) are dealing with injuries this week, which has caused the Lions to cap their practice reps. Assuming the pair is able to make it through Week 2 prep and be available Monday at Green Bay, Williams could get a significant workload yet again -- he had 17 touches Week 1 -- even if his offensive snap count is roughly half that of Swift's (32 versus 63), as it was in Detroit's season-opening defeat to the 49ers.
