Washington (ankle) carried seven times for 21 yards and caught two passes for 19 yards Sunday against the Saints.
Before leaving the game for good with an ankle injury, Washington accounted for a career-high 40 yards from scrimmage. It's unclear if the rookie will be forced to miss any time, but in such an event, expect Zach Zenner to take over as the Lions' primary early-down option.
