Washington (ankle) missed Wednesday's practice.
Washington was joined on the sideline by Theo Riddick, who is dealing with an ankle injury himself. The former has already logged one DNP as a result of his issue, but the extent of Riddick's issue is unknown. That aside, there's an expectation that Washington returns to action this week, which could yield yet another iteration of the Lions' backfield. In addition to Riddick, Zach Zenner and recent pickup Justin Forsett could play roles if there is an absent body or two Sunday versus the Rams.
