Montgomery sustained a thigh injury during Sunday's game versus the Seahawks.
Montgomery required a cart to get to the locker room after his right leg was twisted up by a Seattle defender at the end of a seven-yard reception. While the nature of the injury is confirmed, it remains to be seen if he'll be able to return. In the meantime, rookie first-round pick Jahmyr Gibbs will lead the Lions backfield.
