Swift (undisclosed) won't practice Thursday, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.
Swift missed a few days of practice before returning Wednesday as a limited participant. There hasn't been any report of a setback, so it's possible the Lions are just holding him out to be cautious. Missed practice time is never great for a rookie, but Swift should still be a big part of the team's Week 1 game-plan if he's healthy enough to play.
