Abdullah is scheduled for an evaluation of his left foot Tuesday to determine if he can begin to practice, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Sidelined since suffering a foot injury in Week 2, Abdullah is one of the Lions' candidates to be activated from injured reserve before season's end. In fact, Rapoport noted that Abdullah could return in three weeks, which would provide the Lions' backfield with another dual threat alongside Theo Riddick. No matter when he's cleared to return, Abdullah seems like a good bet to make his presence felt in the near future.
