Abdullah has revealed that he suffered a Lisfranc injury last season, Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports.
Abdullah's 2016 campaign was cut short after getting injured in Week 2, but the Lions were unclear about the extent of his ailment throughout the year. Now it's finally been disclosed by Abdullah himself. Due to the timing of the malady, Abdullah was back 100 percent healthy by early March, which allowed him to participate in Detroit's offseason conditioning program. After also going through OTAs in an unlimited capacity, Abdullah then saw the Lions decline to draft a running back, which has him poised to lead the charge again this season.
