Ossai (foot) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Ossai was unable to play in the Jets' 20-17 overtime loss to the Packers on Sunday due to a persistent foot injury. The defensive end was unable to suit up for a practice in Week 2, which renders his start to Week 3 prep a somewhat positive development. Ossai will need to upgrade to full practice participation by Friday to avoid any injury designation heading into Sunday's game against the Lions.
