Davis didn't record a carry or target in Monday's 32-19 loss to the 49ers.
Davis played exclusively on special teams in his NFL debut, while fellow rookie Braelon Allen backed up Breece Hall and got his first two career touches. It's encouraging that Davis dressed as the Jets' third running back ahead of Israel Abanikanda, but Davis isn't part of New York's game plan on offense at this stage of his career.
